The irony of Icarusfx comments is that, with all his "experience", he is not making money with this system. Furthermore, he cautions newbies not to trade it. Here is where the biggest irony comes, newbies are making lots and lots of pips.
The big point to keep in mind is, if you don't understand how the system works, ask for help. It is available, there is plenty of it and above all it is very friendly.

Hi Al,

I've been lurking around for some time on this forum, but your thread convinced me to become a FF member. I like the way you communicate and your willingness to share knowledge, something I don't see very often. That is also a reason for me to try and give something back.

I'm currently in the process of writing an EA for the Extreme TMA system and I'm almost done with it. I've been backtesting it for the last week and a half and the results are encouraging.

Here what's in there:
- Standard trading with TP and SL
- Standard trading with TP following the TMA bands
- Options for conservative (TMA middle line) and more aggressive (upper or lower TMA line) TP
- Dynamic / partial TP at a certain level outside the TMA bands
- Signal to signal trading
- Recovery trading
- Opportunistic trading: open a trade at the TMA line level if TMASlope is strong enough

It's not yet ready for prime time however. I can intercept and validate all signals (TMA cross, TMASlope value, TMA histogram), except the occurrence of a spike. It seems the Extreme_Spike indicator does not return its values to be used with iCustom()... Would you happen to know the author? Of course, if someone with indicator coding skills would like to assist, he/she is more than welcome :-) Also, I'd still like to include pivot processing in there as well.

If I succeed in finishing the EA, I'm of course willing to share it with everybody.

When I loaded the tpl, on AU and UCAD the label inappropriately displays EU. I have read most of this thread, and I apoligize if this question has been addressed but this is the fastest moving thread I have ever been apart of haha.

Edit. I allowed DLL content and it corrected that flaw.

Is the extreme TMI small supposed to bring up the 18 charts when loaded? cause it definitely only adds the template to the pair opened.

It wonīt be doomed. I am in on the H1 TF on this one. Might even switch to H4. It will end up a winner. Eur will be ok for a couple of days but after it is going down. I am slowly loading up again. EurUsd, EurJpy, EurGbp, EurAud.

Turn off your MT4 and turn it back on. Be aware that in the future, when you reload the template to a fresh chart, you will have the same issue.

Tom, I really appreciate what you are doing. Please, remember that the Extreme Spike is no longer part of the system. I hope your EA incorporates the TMS Slope indi instead.

Tom, it is probably non of my business because I never used EAs and never will.

But I have two points to make:

1). The recovery demands a huge amount of discretion, you just can't put it in the EA. Well, you can but it won't work.

2). Before creating EA you should study the thread really good. You're talking about TMA histogram, the Extreme_Spike, but all this is an ancient history, the system changed and the Extreme_Spike, for example, is not the part of the system any more.

All you have to do is close MT4 and start it again. All the charts will be corrected.

Thanks guys, only thought restarts were for newly loaded indicators.

So No longer tma spike or ma crossover used in the system. Simply use the slope histogram and watch the TMA bands.

The entry still gets tricky. Either slope rising or slope falling, but is it entry on first few bars closed shorter or taller making slope or change of color on an HA candle, thats the hard part I am deciphering and yes read the rules but this part seems a little foggy.

When Smoothed Median 5/5 MA is over the upper TMA Band and the RED HA is crossing this MA down, we make the pips.

Has anyone considered incorporating the 123 pattern indicator, can provide some clarity or areas of support and resistance that otherwise might not be noticable.

Just an observation, if it don't apply let it fly, or perhaps someone has already suggested the possibility.

I am still learning and also interested to know more about the 123 indi.
There is so much info around and not easy to know what is good and what not.

Today's results so far:

GU +25
AU +12
UCAD +4

Net Prof Pips +41 so far 4hrs trading....I'm slow but steady...lol!
