There seems to be a font issue with the latest build - anyone else experiencing problems?

Try the previous version (v2.2), to see if the issue persists; I'll try to find out the problem with v2.3.

Edit:
The above issue was resolved; the user had their font setting at medium. Once reset to default, the app worked fine.

That is caused by the display setting of your computer.

Go to control panel, then Display & change the resolution to default 100% that should resolve that.

first many thanks for sharing this tool for free to all. Tested some tools, but this one -for my usage- ist really the best fitting.

There is one thing, I have to ask - may be others are experiencing the same: 'Today's events' seem to load into the application at start of day and if day is over, none events are showing. But the application doesn't repeat this download, you have to restart it (if I have used it right).

It would be practical, don't know if easy to add, if application is downloading each day. For those, which are shutting down trading-pc once a week only, friday evening.

Off the top of my head, not sure how to code that request.

How would i check end of day for different time-zones?

You can quickly re-load events by clicking the refresh arrow in the top left of the events table (next to [Today's Events] text).

Just had a eureka moment...i could check the date - lol

Not only that this app has news alarm, the candle alarm sounding every hour is sooo cool, is it possible to sound this alarm earlier before the candle closes? For example a few minutes before the candle closes so that I have time to anticipate what to possibly do.

And any chance I can select a different sound for this candle alarm?

I know this is a long shot but I have to ask

Glad you find it useful.

FX aficionados would argue that you have to wait for candle closure to make any decision, especially for higher timeframe candles.

You should already have a battle-plan in place as candle(s) approach closure and use the candle close as confirmation. However, I'm not one to proffer FX advice, so I've put your request on my list...thanks.

Regarding a different sound for the candle alarm, this was originally the case but another user requested a generic alarm for all events. I will see if I can squeeze this option in somewhere.

Haven't had a mooch yet, procrastination is the thief of time.

My previous session alarm bug :- it doesn't sound in widget mode, not really a major bug. Is your bug similar? Can you elaborate?

I've uploaded a default app installer (there are no modifications to the app itself); download the latest version from the homepage.

Before, I used a 3rd party tool to convert the MSI to an EXE, because peeps are more familiar with EXE's. It seems the tool I used was adding suspicious scripts onto the core build and users were informing me that the app was getting flagged with virus'.

This install is now clean as it's the core MSI file with no fluff attached.

Norton flags it as a potential virus, but that is just because fewer than 50 users of Nortons have downloaded the most recent version of the software and it is NOT because of anything that Norton's picks up in the software.

What I like about this program, is that unlike MT4 news indicators it does not continue to help MT4 chew up your RAM. So you still get the warning you need of news events, but the platform does not lose execution efficiency.

At the moment it calculates the time to next event by using your windows clock GMT+10 (in my case). However, the time that I use is my MT4 platform's server time GMT+2, as a result the next event countdown is wrong.

In the timezone pop up panel, is there a way that you can put an additional timezone factor such as "Trading Platform's Timezone"?

So IF you want to use your platform's timezone, you enter the platforms GMT timezone, and it then finds the differrence between your computer clock and your trading platform's timezone and uses that for all its news alerts.

I'll add an input box, so you can change the TZ. Will do for next build.
