Let me explain further. Your main account has 50,000. You have 10 other accounts open. You see three trade opportunities. You transfer 2000 into each account. That occurs in seconds. You then place each trade in a different account. This protects your remaining balance against any possible disaster that may happen and it removes the worry of placing stop losses, etc. Itīs easy and it is safe and it works.

I gotcha! I just figured if we could get a pull back and a valid signal, that we could possibly score a few pips both ways. That way, we are following our rules. That is just me though.....

I saw this, but by the time the bar closed my screen was already blue so there was no "valid" signal. Did you jump the gun??

if 2 bars were red as you already have the spike and pa is out the band, it's a valid signal
could have take it
so far mine is all blue so i dont' take the short
it will repeat may be before the close of the actual bar

Sure. Price moves from band to band over 90% of the time. Itīs just a matter of how long it will take to move there and where the band will be pricewise when it does.

so it means you place your recovery trade only when un sub account crashed ?

Well, well... Gold ended up crossing the band after all to 1749 to the Daily Pivot. I figured it would. I left some pips on the table on that one.

In past I used this system too but it was constraint me to juggle between all accounts. Now I define stop loss, it's simpler and better.

Another point. The ideal trades are those that go with the flow of the TMA. In other words, If you are shorting, you want the TMA to be level or dropping at that moment, not rising steeply. It makes sense. If it is rising steeply, the lower band will be rising also and the profit potential will be reduced as time goes by. If the TMA is dropping when you short, the lower band is moving away from PA so your profit will improve. Many of the trades occur when the TMA is level after having a strong rise, like for example where Gold is right now.

yeah, it's definetly safer to only look for shorts in downtrend and for longs in uptrend (golden rul of trend trading), but PA is over pivot 3 and i am scaling in with small positions, so risk is kept small

No. 1 lot of EURUSD has to drop close to 270 pips for the account to close. I place my recovery trade when it drops by 100 pips. In all honesty, since I use the Extreme TMA system, I have never had an account closed and I only had to use recovery (100 pips) twice. This system is good at keeping you out of serious trouble. I did drawdown one account with another system before, but not with this one.

For those that donīt understand how recovery works. Let me give you a simple example:

2- I open a 1 lot order in account A.

2- Account A drops 100 pips.

3- I open 1 lot trade on account B.

4- If price recovers 50 pips I am at BE on the total of both trades and I close trades in both accounts A and B. (A= -50, B= +50 Total = 0)

Please, read the doc on Recovery. It is worth while.

Price is too close to center line with TMA dropping leaving little room for profit to the opposite band. Not a high % trade.
