Yes, that's why I said - they are not exactly the same. Does your car drive exactly the same at exactly the same gas pedal position after a tune up and an oil change? It drives smoother, faster, right?
Symphonie_Extreme_Cycle_Indikator

uses an SMA(250) of the (High-Low) as a measure

Extreme_Spike

uses ATR(250) (ATR is EMA(250) of the (High-Low) in case of forex)

They will not produce the same value. Close, but not exactly.

Symphonie_Extreme_Cycle_Indikator

uses "ZeroLag(12) of SMMA(1) of Close" as a price

uses Close

Could you not look to make the input values exact, but at the result they produce, please?
If it catches the major and minor turning points - that's all that matters, right?

First - the bar spacing on your chart is larger than on mine - that's why histograms have black gaps. Either reduce the spacing (hit "-") or increase the histogram width (indicator properties -> color -> change width).
Second - I don't use use *line version of indicators - so remove those (MA_lines and/or Stochastic_lines). Remember - for Symphonie all you need is 4 indicators.
Third - set "Collapse" to "true" for Fisher Transform.
Fourth - I see you have both MA_cross and Reverse_Stochastic. Choose one and remove the other.

first of all my friend realjumper i said that i an new to trading i dont understand why you said it again, maybe because you are too good and want to show yourself.......secondly i dont know if you were born GOD but i was born human and yes i have some questions is that bad?...Ofcourse i read the the post 1 and the pdf file and the tips from post#1 etc to read 5500 post from the start i think you know its a little difficult as i just entered to this forum.....my questions were from the post #1 or we cant have question from post#1....if you dont want to answer to newbies as you said then dont reply at all i dont understand why you have to get mad about some questions and show yourself....and yes i still have a questions because i see that simphonie signal v1.8 doesnt refresh ?? so i cant rely on this indikator...it would be difficult for you if you answer this question??? instead of just talking......

RJ was just simply saying that newbies were asking the same questions over and over and that if you look hard enough the questions have been answerd many times before.

I have one wish, please keep this thread free from arguments and use the energy to to learn and evolve as a trader. we have a nice community and always willing to help people that have done their homework.

What would be the best time frame to for a beginner using this system? I have been demoing on M5 but I find myself micro managing too much.

It is not on my list. I use Symphonie the "old fashion" way - the indicators don't take too much space in histogram form and I get the additional information out of the spike repainting "play" .

It is not cleaned up. All I did was adapted it to the new indicators. It uses "Reverse_Stochastic" for "Emotion" since it is the standard.
You need the Extreme_Spike, Fisher_Transform_Histogram and Extreme_Spike in your "indicators" folder.

It might pay you to demo on the 15m as I know this works well with this time frame with less trades especialy how the market is at the moment... but might suite your trading style better. Give it a go and see how you get on.

Awesome work Comer! I assume the matrix version will not show different colour to possible repaint but only show red blue result of the newer indicators.

So you tell me why there are so many successful traders here and all they have done is read and applied what they have read in post #1 and they have had the PATIENCE and RESPECT to read the forum and guess what.....THEY HAVE LEARNED.

Would it be difficult for me to answer you questions?......no, not at all......would it be difficult for you to READ THE FORUM???.......apparently so. I WILL NOT help those of you who won't help yourself because I am SICK AND TIRED of answering the same questions every day, because people like to are just too damn lazy to spend a little time reading.......and that laziness will prevent you from ever becoming a good trader.

People usually experiment on different time frames until they find the one that they really feel comfortable with. If you don't feel all that comfortable with the 5M, maybe you need to move up gradually until you do.

The best thing any beginner can do is trade very small lots to remove the stress of losing so that the focus remains on managing the trades and learning. Chart time will give you confidence in the long run.

I think it depends on your trading style and preferences. I'm not a newbie, but I just started trading this system, so I decided to concentrate on one timeframe and one currency only until I master the system. I use new comer's indicators on M1 EURUSD and today I was doing just fine. Of course, it was a good trending day, but nevertheless...

I'd say - no lower than H1. Based on personal experience
I have seen sources suggesting D1 for at least a few months to learn a new system or a method. To me it is too slow - you may not get signal for days. And the slower I get the signals - the slower I train in using them. Whereas using H1 or H4 you only need to wait a few hours and those few hours is quite enough time (for me) to read the news and analyze the situation.

As you can see.....the answer to your question is not an easy one. All you can do is keep trying different time frames until you find one that suits. In your position, you have found M5 unsuitable, so I would go the next step up to M15 and try that. If that's not suitable either, try M30...then H1, H4 etc etc. Just experiment (on demo) until you find something that suits you
