hmmm nice price has broken above the pivot like I thought it would but it shouldn't go much further I dont think with price within realm of daily range and 5 15 30 overbought....but who knows...will see how it plays out...but either way M1 should aide on those days when price moves but things just dont line up right on 5 minute or 15 minute...

Just checked in on GBP USD entry and it seems to be progressing rather slowly but probably won't give me much but maybe a little over 1:2 RR since thats about what it is now and must exit point is coming up but currently way outside of daily range...I didn't notice before but the gbp's four hour chart has been making some nice higher lows and higher highs...but I liked price where I entered because it broke above the daily resistance level area around 1.57707...with my entry price at 1.57814 with stop loss at 1.57622 but I just closed the entry out at 1.58522

so 1:3.68 RISK REWARD or a total of about 7.37%


total for today about 12.37% on standard account and 18.42% on high risk account...and I'm done for the day...

Only trade for the morning is a short of EUR USD on the 1 minute chart with risk at 1% on standard account and 2.5% on high risk account....short from 1.31298 with stops at 1.31365 and closed at 1.30850...so about 1:6 R:R


edit: miscalculated the actual percentages below so below are the correct percentages...

+6% standard account
+15% higher risk account

still not ready to trade the 1 minute at full risk exposure....need to see forward results for at least a couple weeks before doing so...

Well I'm done for the day...everything is looking pretty sloppy...so I'm just going to elect to stay out...tomorrow is NFP Friday...so guess I will see how that plays out....

bought eur jpy at 2:20 est at 100.462 with stop currently set to +1

Taking note of some nice consolidation patterns so this evening I will be putting in pending orders to the downside of eu au nu gu gj to catch breakout at different levels and small lot sizes to scale into the down trend that should be established a bit after the break out...but of course will quickly move all orders to break even as a means of protecting capital as soon as possible...

eur jpy order was closed out at 100.782 for exactly 14 pips and almost 2%....

Hmmm...I just took note to the fact that Bernanke will be testifying today and wondering how that might effect the markets...

eur jpy second entry now just locked in 1:2 or 4%...didn't take entry with high risk account because it had a few more technical aspects to it...

price broke above resistance level and next resistance level seemingly around 101.35 so that's where I will just close out the order completely since price at its daily range...ok well close enough...up about 52 pips with stop about 17 so closing out for 1:3 or 6% and thats it for the day...

missed my initial proper entry at 5:30 ibfx chart time...which I would have been closing out for about 1:7 with the additional entry that I just closed out for an additional 1:3...even with no other entries for the week that would have been enough profits for the week...

Looks like that was a good place to take profits judging by the 15 minute candle wicks and such...so I'm done for the day for certain....

Bought gu at 1.58413 with stop at 1.58132

Sigh....eur jpy still climbing...guess I should have held but oh well nobody ever went broke taking profits as I've been told in the past...so as it goes...

Closed out at 1.5891 price at daily range hitting round number and r3 level so the confluence convinced me to go ahead and close...and now I'm really done for the day....I promise....lol....about 4% roc total for the day... +12%
