My TP is at 1.2830. Looks like EU is forming 3 drive pattern I will go long at 1.28 with TP1 1.3140, TP2 1.35 and SL 1.2750

of course we did get another high since I did that daily chart so now it might be that we had a wave 3 made of 5 and we are now in W5 giving a possible 1.2537 by 11th Jan

Hope so & as gu still not ready for the correction like eu is may get bottom agaon & 2900 but not trade now here to see . Lets see next day if one good short entry again with London open or frankie .

It certainly ain't fundamental. Apart from the drive up to 1.42 at the tail end of October, you can say that all longs since then have been technical rebounds.

It is not a bad place here for a swing trade, if you are feeling EU positive, as we are in weekly demand, but alas I do not see any solutions to the EZ debt crisis so far. Maybe Markozy have been working hard over the Xmas period putting their master plan together, but somehow I doubt that!

I'm thinking there starts a fib ret on the 5 min chart, maybe it will go on congestion mode but having a short position can't be that risky right?

wait till the congestion mode takes it's shape, then you'll find better entry points. just 2 c. personally, i wouldn't open short position now, unless you're holding at the top, thinking that it will go down.

p.s. pay close attention to where price closes today.

yeh keep on thinking better than waiting.. thinking will get u there in time as for waiting well we can wait all day and do what wait some more..

We haven't seen long term bottom yet.

I venture somewhere around 1.270

I'm looking at that bottom doji candlestick and center mass of the formation on the monthly charts for reference.

maybe in time u might just think about placing your fibs on say a 30m one hour and 4 hour chart, just something to think about only if ur not so sure about fibs.. just a thought

Well I didn't wait because I'm still a forex baby.

I did close the trade though, after 15 small bars that went nowhere and will wait for new info
