Been out tonight drinking, just got home and checked the charts, there was a valid long signal on EU which would of turned a profit no problem.

hmm ... getting a little confused with these charts and the indicator entry singnals. M, can you have a look at this chart below and explain if the the first setup (1) was valid. If not what are the reasons why. As far as I can tell it seems like everthing (PA and indi's lineup). Whats the difference between setups 1 and 2 ?

No confusion there, if I was here I would of taken that trade, which would of resulted in a loss.

Just means that price pulled back and move below the moving averages, making any continuation signals that occur non trades.

Hi Dan89,

the green indicator you are referring to, i think are not entry signals, but they show M if the MAs he is using are in the right order, just a thought, not sure, but since he uses same colored MAs, he needs something to tell him if they r in the right order. I think to trade the retracements, even the stoch is not needed here.., just pure price action would be enough

I'm sharing my charts, but I'm sharing much more than just that, I'm sharing my thoughts as well, there is more to trading than indicators on a chart, I would like to write a comprehensive guide one day, however you must keep in mind that there are many people out there who would take such information and profit by selling it.

Hence my reluctance to provide detailed instructions. You make the point that trading the retracements can be done using price action alone, which I agree it can, support and resistance levels in the market combined with price levels are great areas where price will react.

Guys, M is unlikey to just post up his template for reasons he has given already. Read his posts from the start and you will find that he has given plenty of information that will allow you to figure out what he is doing/looking at.

Very interesting thread,

Myself until last week I was trading with psychological levels and range bars, I did experiment range bar from 3 to 15, because I wanted to avoid the choppy markets that were bringing me losses. I think the idea to use the 3 emas would be good to avoid certain markets. I will try to experiment with different emas.

The other problem I found was that often prices would go further than the next psychological level and I would miss to pocket at least another 25 pips when TP was set. Not sure what can be done about that, maybe you can articulate if you like.

I won't ask you to provide your template ect. - but on looking at the reaction of price around even numbers - it appears to be as helpfull if not more helpfull than my MTF Pivot Points Indy.

Could someone (or Musashi) please post an indy which will create lines at even numbers.

This will most likely do what you need, and yes you can quite obviously see how price reacts at those levels. Very good area to look at price for entry and exits.
