Perfect, where is your last jiva34's file? I am testing it and think ATR TP and SL should improve the results. Actually I have tested only without H filter and I belive it is promising.

Edit: and adding a ATR TP and SL to the generic EA would be nice

I was going to pm you Steve and ask if this could be added to the generic EA shell for future use in other EAs. I have added ATR SL to the jiva34's ColorMa EA i created yesterday so if you are busy i can have a go at this later on to add to Hanover and the generic EA shell, what do you think?

Mike,

The components needed to get the RS indy operational, and also interface the gathering of its exported data into a user-written EA, are now provided/explained here.

I guess you'd want a generic EA shell (like Steve's) to also have all of the trade logic (buy/sell/close operations etc) included, but hopefully the above link will help to get you started.

Cheers,
David

Hi interested in your test.
How many trades do you get each day ! and what have you set waiting time to between trades.
Kind regards

I am researching with pure Hanover EA (and with module added to other EA) but what follows is only for pure H (before your last gradient update).

I have found that TF M5M30 is very effective for last two weeks. I have set SlopeConfirmationCandles 2,2 and TP 50 SL 30. Some of this trades was also with Jumping TS (so I should correct my statistical calculations (but later)

Winners 75 % Loses 25 % . I have experienced almost all kind of systems and vast quantity of EA. At present time I have seen enough trades and trading system to be impressed...

Definitively I belive that Hanover EA is profitable. The main reason is its capability to read market changes which make possible to get a likely right entry. But this adapatative capability is not useful for exit. The exit estrategic should be also adaptative but it is not implemented yet. The result is that we have a very good entry but still a poor exit. I have been testing several time frame combinations and found that Lawgirls TF like M1M5, M5M30, M15H1, H1H4 are very suitable for right entry. That is expected as a clasic trading law (we must try to align short time trend with high time trend as much as possible).

Apart from entry, now we need an apropiate exit. In this serie of trades I fix SL and TP (same for all pairs) and carefully I followed the trade. The result is that many of then close under very different conditions than original (different volatility). So I closed manually TP with one rule: 3 time actual ATR.

So in order to reach a very good profitable EA fully automatic (set and forget) the following modification should work very, very well:

TP and SL based on dynamic ATR. Tha is H bot place the order and set TP and SL based on ATR present at the moment of sending the order. Then H bot makes a following of the order and changes TP and SL when ATR change more than a set threshold (10%, 20%,...).

With this modifcation we capture again the movement of the market when trade is in place.

I hope this information is helpful for the community.

Regards

Hi Steve,
This is Relative Strength Currency Cross EA and IMHO this puppy needs to be on it's own.....I had a little trouble early and then shut off all the in house BE, BEP, JS and TS inputs and just went ahead and added MPTM.....It's pretty easy to see where I did it.....I'll post a decent report this weekend....

Have a great evening

Hi Steve, Sorry I got in a hurry and was to vague....
I could not get the MPTM style functions (BE,BEP, etc.) to work.....And I had this one on my truck laptop and was watching it off and on during the day....Now it may have been something I was doing, but I sure couldn't find it if it was.....
I added MPTM to it and it took right off....

Good Morning Steve,
I'm going to be out of the truck for the rest of the day so I'm going to send this proper statement to my desktop......This bot is on IBFX 5-digit US crook.....So I can't use the CBI's hedging......
Over-all it's doing well....

Have a great weekend

whip

EDIT=====A great pic of the Swissy heading south.....Dropped the threshold to 8 just in time.....
Steve I have the CBI's hedging shut off and IBFX is still giving me a 149 error message that hedging is not allowed
So the bot may still be trying to hedge...

Last pic Steve....dust is starting to settle.....the bot is now cleaning up after itself and it did well....In fact both bots dids well...MPTM had to handle all those BE,BEP amd TS also.....You are to be congatzed!!!

This one comes in Oanda MT4, but I have disabled hedge from settings...probably not related with yours, HW.

One question: anything else except OOTB? Numpoints 30? BE, trailing?
Thanks!

P.S. Btw, strange thing, I got 4 buys on GCHF, pretty much OOTB, numpoints 30, since 20 mins ago...
