Hope you all shorted the bounce above 79.00 as it always seems to pay off quite well to sell every single bounce.

How does the mind of Japanese monetary policy makers function ? Do they honestly believe that they can sit back and relax after a one shot intervention ? Do they really think that hiding in their comfortable caves is the appropriate way of acting after threathening and tough talk for months ?

Why didn't they intervene several times in a row ? Result is that already half of it's initial gain is down the drain yet again. It would have been far smarter to make use of the momentum. Intervening the way they do is just a waste of money.

As we can see, it's slowly dying ... again.

i have 2 orders, one order is 0.025 lot buy limit at 77.50 with s/l 77.25 and tp 77.75, another order is 0.025 lot buy limit at 77.50 with s/l 77.25 and tp open

Making lower lows/lower highs just as it has done so in the past. Imo, this is the ideal forex strategy:

intervene - wait till price is back at or below initial price - intervene - wait till price is back at or below initial price - intervene .............

As a trader one cannot but love the way the Japanese handle the Yen crisis. lol

yeah, because 77.45 was the former resistence reject UJ moved up by 3-4 times in October, so i assume there will be some support for that..
i long both of them at 77.50 and i will sleep soon
i have both of them s/l at 77.25 and one t/p at 77.75 another tp is open.

I can't find a reason to go long, I would feel much safer to be on one side with BoJ even if they are sleeping but can't find a sign to go there.

Went short @ 77.8 and will be looking for exit around 77.1 or somewhere above fib 50% if things change

I'am afraid your TP would be not achieve today mate and we might see lower - We just break Descending Triangle In London Session and 77.50 become resistance now

BoJ stopped it last time, think this time they might even break downgoing trend. I mean how much money they can throw on half done intevnetion before someone will slap them.

But that surprise could take month(s).
Anything sooner? Like who is planning to leave open shorts during weekend or open in one direction or other before it in hope that something similar to Oct 31th might repeat.

Think USD-Bear is hoping for something.
