BOJ will never intervene. They are just a piece of crap who's barking to interevene since 120 level and today it's 76.

Imho, it's way too early to initiate long positions. Downward potential to at least 75.00

Last time price dropped below 76, large orders were right below and price went up considerably. Not so this time. Looks like no one is prepared to buffer price, at least not at prices around 76.00

I'd be very carefull and place hard stops for sure. Just my 2 cents !

Appreciate your reply. Have you got any idea how many times BOJ has threathened to intervene since Yen moved below 100 ?

actually.... no . i'm used to trading eurusd, but read it, saw the months of decline, sometimes bigger spikes up, read the news message... and some orders were born

but what was the spike at august 4th? also a few hundred pips spiking up..?!

and that was proved failed so BOJ probably realized it's not a good idea to just give a weak intervention therefore they have to either do it like SNB or wait for the market change a little at least not bearish for USD/JPY anymore then push USD/JPY up.

It's funny that most people here were talking about intervention and then swearing to the Japan's minister for lacking to do so. I bet a lot of people here are in a long positions with big lots. Instead of talking about that, why don't you all explain it to me, why Japan seems to be difficult in weakening their currency? Does printing the money (a.k.a QE) do the job easily?

If currency is all time lowest level. What do you do?
Smart will buy, but stupid sell
No one will swearing if he don`t talk shitt to much. If you say then do...
A strong currency will cause harm economy. Better to spend some trilion
