Aw well, was trying not to close on BE. Sometimes it really annoys me ( when I make an intraday trade) that the PA initially goes to my direction then hits BE.

When i scalp if i get more then 5 10 pips its ok to be stopped out at BE ( if i dont close the trade in profit) but i came to realize there is no point in putting the trade on BE for intraday trades if less then 20-25 pips is achieved. We need to take the risk even if the price initially goes in opposite direction.

The point is, my ranging system works perfectly when we are in the range. When trending need to switch to trend following system and that is when my range trading system fails.

Watch Fxcube h1/h4 chart. Thats is. We need to use range system atm. Ofcourse I am not talking about m1/m5 scalping. Talking about intraday trades.

Yes I think we have different methods approach but at least we mean somehow the same ...

For example I have learned that charts and grafical methods (alone or only) are very subjective assessment tools ... which are not sufficient enough to describe the factual probabilities for a successful trading strategy ...

And I have learned that charts can be used for so-called "Zeugnis-Umlastungsverfahren" in order to show some things to "prospects" and how to manage such things ...

I can even show you how much so-called charting software do show you different results even then when you use absolutely the same data-feed ...

For that reason ... I stick to those old pure math based methods and tools ... which do exist longer than internet ...

And somehow we were able to trade with great results as well in those days when there was not those cheap electronic hardware around us ...

But we have had a much more higher developed inner voice and deeper knowledge of what is happening ... even without these things ...

At least you will survive and win only then - if / when you have a sort of healthy plans and systematic strategies that work ...

BTW ... today there will be a Troika conference later again ... and telephone conferences looming ... possibly a lot of moves then caused again ...

What do you think about a possible BREAKOUT within next few sessions to the upside T@rantula ?

At least it is a subjective decision ... on how you apply your settings in charts ... and as you mentioned half a year ago ... who (!) reads them ...

The breakout to the is possible during the next hours as the price has already tagged lower BB and we are still ranging. For Oscillators and detecting divergences OSMA can perform exceptionally well but you just need to know how to read it. And I agree, trading decisions also depend on how you read them. Psychology is also important as sometimes you need to suffer the initial loss in order to achieve bigger profits.

Okey-dokey ...

A less than 100 pips daily span until now ...

Monday we have seen almost a 190 pips span ...

2011-09-27 _ (11h54 CET) EUR-USD _ 030min _ 000 candle 210-501-30

And we will see further extention ... which is very likely ...

For me a buy on casual dips situation atm ...

As I still expect another attempt towards 1.3578 - 1.3595 ...

If not or if failes there then back towards 1.3447 or below to 1.3416/14 again ...

Positive outlook potential for extentions as long as 1.3466/ 51 may hold ...

I go Short at DR1 @ 1.3596 & 1.36 just now & will hedge these orders at mR2 1.3631 if the market price will go further up.

BTW stop based on IMM settlements comes into play at 1.3675 area ...

Which means a little bit above DPR+2 zone ...

Excuse me but just only for the reason of accuracy ...

Our DAILY PIVOTAL RESISTANCE NO. 1 cuts in at 1.3602 ...

Maybe we have seen our move to the upside ... but I will wait for later ... as there are still some extentions ...

Anyway ... I did not start to go A REVERSO until 1.3627 has been hit ...

And I did add some at 1.3637 ... as described before ...

Never before certain key-point areas has been hit ...

And partial profits at 1.3607 ...

Just got home, was out as I dont trade after 11.00 am GMT - 13.30 pm GMT ( check my post concerning trading hours to see the explanation WHY trading hours should be respected ).

The market has turned to bullish. I will look for longs on retracements.

Hi traders,
We retreaced 50% of wave 4. That could be first leg up known as wave A of ABC correction. Rally might be extended up to 61.8% of wave 4. Anyway sooner or later wave B should develop.

Current count on picture.

Well highest been given now at 1.3653 atm ... which is above our ELLIOTT extention ... on a today calculated basis ...


DPR+3 would be an extreme ... therfore stops are to be considered above that area ...
