Haven't made any money in the last week. Nothing open. I have pending orders since early yesterday that heavn't triggered yet, so just waiting.

I think Mone's floating is so large that he is moving back in with his parents. He's trying to recruit people for his signal service so he can move out again.

A rumor, that's all it is.

Why would they intervene when it 76 fails to hold ? They didn't take action when Eur/Jpy dropped to all time lows eventhough it's their biggest exportzone.

- Boj was seeking support twice from other nations which they didn't get
- why throw good money after bad ? remember the September '10, March '11 and August '11 interventions -- result ?
- European debt problems far from solved, so they don't know what they are up against
- Japanese officials are sending out mixed messages -- yes they are willing to take bold action, yes they are closely monitoring forex but at the same time they also say that Jpy strenght will fade when Eurozone problems are solved thus giving a clear signal that they prefer to wait for issues to settle down.

Imo, forget intervention to get strenght out of Jpy. As long as Eurozone and US problems persist Jpy will remain a safe haven.

BOJ would not intervene if Euro/Jpy & Gbp/Jpy go to more historic lows but noly psycological level at 100 for the first would be the biggest test.
while BOJ might intervene for Usd/Jpy because the whole concern is this pair just as the whole concern for SNB is Euro/Chf.
If any of you traders realized past week how Usd/Chf & Gbp/Chf collpased around 150 pips in few seconds at start of a daily candle then spiked up while Euro/Chf had done nothing but kept at same price.
Really suspicious actions by the Central Banks, Great that I always keep a buy pending order open for such possibility for Usd/Chf leading to big fast gains but in general a big question mark about the legacy of such actions by CBs.
Back to yen pairs, very suspicious when we see Euro/Jpy & Gbp/Jpy do not move upward or kept stable but keep collapsing( due to euro & sterling overall weakness) when Usd/Jpy powers while the opposite is not the same or true when the dollar is weak versus yen and Euro/Jpy Gbp/Jpy power, the usdjpy pair is kept stable or a little downward movement.
Example is that when Euro/Jpy was at 102.00 Usd/Jpy was still at 76.25/30 while now at same price while Euro/Jpy is now at 103.40
This prove that only concern for BOJ is Usd/Jpy price not Euro/Jpy or Gbp/Jpy,
also this adds to suspicious market movements as legal hold for certain pairs by CBs as SNB for Euro/Chf & BOJ for Usd/Jpy.
Well. Euro/Chf moves good currently as daily range not best but reasonable to the downward retracing than upward while Usd/Jpy is kept in tight range especially to the downside as if something is holding it, no secret that is the BOJ devil big forex computer..LOL

Besides, there's 2 reasons for no intervention:

1st is no clear green light by the US & above 76.00 range is not bad for the BOJ despite that sooner or later or BOJ must actas SNB had done near 1.2000 or sellers would force BOJ or at least test their readiness to intervene by taking(sellers) this pair below 76

2nd BOJ fuels aren't really good currently especially looking back to spikes as past week for around 100 pips for Euro/Jpy Gbp/Jpy and 60 for Usd/Jpy and big question marks if these were intervention or just some banks & hedge funds actions or maybe even BOJ tests.
If these were actions that are surely not announced by BOJ as many actions at above prices at past then those pairs kept going down then the answer is BOJ no fuel or playing with those pairs by being the buyer then seller to keep the big or more money for the appropriate real big intervention time.

All good here on the trading front.....not much to report on this pair though....It seems Japan want to help out in the bailout/default avoidance of Greece so I doubt that any intervention will happen. Still watching closely though, and I'm prepared to take strong action if needed

Very good my friend. We shall both keep waiting on this pair. Hopefully not too much longer for movement in either direction.

That's the pattern. It may well be inside consolidation but the double inside bar on the daily is a must have trade. Given recent dollar strength I know which way i'm guessing.
