I would not put too much emphasis on the number, as in many occassions, bad number pushed the market up, market goes up violently if there are too many short holders and vice versa, beleive it or not. Market is man made and it goes aginst retail traders position.

but the news time is very important to determine the price action, in my opinion, the price will shoot up regarless of the news outcome if price stays low until the news comes.

Like trading EUR/USD and Gold. Today I should have been more patient with my entry on Gold. Still, nice profit, but could be 2 times larger - for now.
