its funny, beginning of the week, many thought we would head down to 1.37, others saying 1.45...and now we're saying 1.51...with Greece defaulting in everything but name, moody saying you're a fool if u invest in greece, i expected euro to have dropped a fair bit...one downgrade on US still gives them plenty of time to...oh i see...loss of confidence, increase in yield, no job growth...hmm...well here's hoping euro drops like the rotten tomato its become

so with the UK GDP coming out...any clues/any ideas as in whether cable gonna shoot the moon or sink like the titanic...haven't heard anything from mervynn King for quite a while, so im assuming UK is quietly sinking into a black hole, but without the populace realizing off course

you got to watch what the press/media is aiming at hammering down... indeed greece debt issue is not gone but last weeks talks of greece being allowed of a partial default, the media suddenly finds it beneficial to the entire EURO ZONE... perhaps its because most of the agreed partial default would happen on Private Greek Debt holders rather than defaulting the debt ECB is holding... See??
Another thing... see how the media suddenly turns focus towards the USA Debt ceiling issue... Its all about understanding who the Media is targetting to hit....

nah not really that relentless.. reason why EURUSD is flying high so much is because of the Volatility during summer periods... volatility is low therefor any big boy with a bit of money to splash into the market would move the market alot more than if you were to do it when the volatility is high... because theres less traders in the market to counter you if it was fall, banks will fight against one another for sure...

i thought the whole malarky with the media was to do opposite to everything they say, ie...once the public become aware of oppurtunity, you should be doing the opposite to avoid the herd...clearly i got trampled by the herd instead

but look across the pairs ... USD is making fresh all time and multi year lows vs. almost every currency....

No no... FOLLOW the herd... because the herd IS the market... actually no follow the Big Banks... if you know where the Big banks are aiming for stops, then you can use that to your advantage...

Yea... Probably the best time to do it anyways... but hey to look if the USD is in complete sell off look at the USD INDEX instead... the Forex Market is subject to volatility... during summer volatility is low meaning theres less money moving in the market... so it takes alot less money to move the market up or down... Splash it with truck load of money then you can see 200 pip move in a day easy...
