A break through the 14500 mark, could signal a major trend reversal. The price seems to be contained by the support line, and technically selling the EUR/USD seems profitable and the right move, however with the recent fundamental news I would wait to see a re test or a clear sell off to take hold.

on a weekly line chart, eur has already broken the trend, and although this wave might extend its downward directiction to 38xx, it is still merely a correction to test the trend, after that maybe 1.5

Well friends, lets see where the week closes....a major trend reversal is out of the question. This kind of price action does not speak for a reversal and the fundamentals definitely dont support such a scenario. 1,4380 demand was not enough to break thru 1,4520 with 4 attempts, so there was no chance but to sell it down to lower demand to reload. And a seemingly endless fall is good for the psychology. 1.4800 is next, then 1.50.

Why does it seems these two statements conflict?

Anyway I'm thinking if this top holds and lower fork (on chart) doesn't - lower, much lower.

My friend, i dont think they conflict if you read just the change of sentiment on the forum after such a drop, it has a very intended effect...i am not saying that it still cant go lower but much lower, i doubt...although it depends on what you see as much lower.If you trade 5 min, 30 min charts, i agree but if you look at daily and weekly, it could be debated. Anyway, i expected a correction as per my previous posts, but not before we reach at least 1.4650. I still think we will be there shortly before we enter a little longer consolidation but i might be just plain wrong on this call.
