Hello PP,

This morning there were about 3 good opportunities and I captured only one out of those 3 on USD/CAD at 10.30 GMT for 25 pips. I saw you taking the next short entry but I was not available at that time.

GBP/USD was driven south by the 9.30GMT news spiling everything.... Very earlier in the morning there was a good entry on cable but as news was only 15 mins away I did not take it.

It seems that early NY session has more chances today than the London session.

Sessions vary everyday, but generally London has the most action as London session normally sees the most volume of currency exchange hands.

I would go long above 16320. Note the Slanted W which has formed. EMAs are lined up long on 5-min, 15-min and 60-min, upfractal formed at 16318, and we have a MCTL which is about to be broken up. ALL conditions say we are about to go long ... I have my fingers crossed

good point. They are not in perfect form, but I just have this gut feeling this one is gonna pop if it can get past the 16320 area, based on 5-min chart setup

Yup, same setup. Normally most USD pairs move togethr, so they usually have more or less the same formation happening at the same time. that is why I normally watch one major pair (in my case I like gbpusd), and some other totally different pair like eurchf (although it may stil be affected by usd sometimes).

so, if 3 pairs behave the same way you only take one tarde with one pair not all 3 possible trades?

for me, yes, I only take one trade. taking all three trades, at least to me, means I am trippling the risk, as if one trase fails, most likely all three will fail. Additionally, it is much easier to manage one trade than managing all three trades at the same time, as I normally babysit my trades after I enter them.

Yeah, it is awefully slow, but it is lunch time in NY so it is expected things will be slow. I am just hoping for a nice run up on gbpusd once the NY guys fill their tummies and want to take the gpbusd up to the high of the day again

Tomorrow will be a hell of a ride for the EUR though with ECB rate decision. That WON'T be slow time at all .

I am a Technical Account Manager for a metrology (measurements systems) company in Canada.

Speaking of working, I gotta go home for lunch now ... I am hungry ... LOL

will be back in an hour or so.
