to see i got stopped out on 2 of my shorts...

still 50 pips green for the day.

i don't believe luck. could say i was unlucky as i got stopped out with sls at 42454 and 42458 (yes, the spread screwed me!) but could also say i was lucky that i misplaced one stop and that short is still on LOL

heading home.

They will raise rates: they have been telegraming this to anyone who's been listening. Doing otherwise would p!ss off the wrong people. (ie., smart money, banks, etc.) Although, they may use the conference afterwards to talk down further expectations; a sky-bound euro isn't a good recipe for the current supposed recovery that they are in. The question is, how far beyond the current TL it will go.

Guys.. I got a question:

If the ECB and World Press is announcing that they will raise rates on Thursday, can we still expect market to go into a crazy buying EUR/USD.. as it seems that it is already priced in..?

If they are announcing it will not become an element of a surprise anymore in my view.. could we see a non-reaction event?

Yes, it will freak out, but you will probably see an opposite reaction to the news... buy the rumor sells the news setup...

so, what your saying is the lower time scales is not proper mindset as a trader?

that you can give less attention to your business by changeing to higher time scale?

You can pre-deturmine expectation that is how profitable one trade is from another?

and break even stops are proper position management? or just the same mindset as useing higher time scales? or its it to afford to lessen your attention spand on open trades?

It cracks me up how so many here expect a resistance trendline on the weekly just to give on the first hit, without any type of significant pullback. I'm not going to be an ass and say there is no way that it can happen....but it would be exceedingly rare. Personally, until after the hike (which is expected to be 25 bps though we have priced in about 150 bps), I'm sticking to precious metals.

On another note.....where the hell is everybody? Tumbleweeds? Permanently left? Vacation?
