#1 still hasn't been touched. so you cant have 2 w/o 1... #2 is cose to the original 3709... #2 minor is 3710.1... so the pair has a hard on for 3708/10 area.

touching here would allow they original #2 target to be wide open at 3688.4

you can see the daily pp is at 3727... but what if it hits it then hits 3709 then bounces? also 3748/59 could act as support.

hanging on a winner too long can hurt as much as hanging on a loser too long. im not recommending you short. just pointing out a place to get on if you closed at the recent top.

There's a big difference between mainstream and secondary reporting of what's happening in Libya. The former is indicating on-going protests, another city in protester's control, etc. The latter paints the government as in control of the Army and the Air Force, the military keeping Tripoli locked down, and at least 75% of the oil flowing.

Judging from this market, I think I have to go with the latter. I fear it may be all over but the massacres. Just look at this headline:

"Indiana Official 'No Longer Employed' After Reportedly Urging Wisconsin Police To Shoot Protesters."

Upps. Wrong headline. I'll get back to you on that.

gator, I'm not sure that I made myself clear. What I was trying to say is that what little news of Libya I could find was indicating a robust and rising protest against a repressive regime, which is something we can all hope for and support.

Unfortunately, private news sources, and sources in such places as Israel, are much more pessimistic in their view: massive Army defections have not happened, the Air Force is intact in spite of the publicized Tuesday defections, demonstrations in Tripoli are met with lethal force, and the concern over civil war is premature. In that scenario, those who rose up will likely be slaughtered; they're essentially unarmed.

Since Europe's risk in this is largely, if cynically, oil, that, too, seems to be reduced, judging from the currencies' actions in the last 24 hours.

The Madison headline was a poor attempt to make a joke in a grim scenario.
