Okay, so I have a demo MT4 account and just made a trade.
I sold GBP/JPY at 132.245 and set a SL of 132.455, so 21 pips away.
After 13 minutes, the trade is closed and the price it was closed at was 132.347
Why did this happen?
It seems like the charting uses the Bid. The Ask line is a bit higher though. Did the reason my trade get closed have to do with the bid/ask??
Can someone also explain bid/ask to me. If I recall correctly, the bid is what you sell the currency at, and the ask is what you buy it for.. how does stoploss work? how does clearing your trade work (do you pay the spread twice? once when you enter and again when you exit)
