we just canceled the last bull candle. so we are just slightly bullish to neutral st.. watch the support line.. if you get closes below it then its bearish.. we just got below it and couldn't close the deal.. this is where spikes sometimes happen n.. double talk i know.. you have to wait for whats gonna happen.. if a spike north, breaks resistance look for a long and vice versa.. but its a cluster cause of other resistance ready to slap you down.. so its probably limited. id wait till 3200 is broken.. or below the much easier path of support..
you got 66 easy pips below or 90 pips north going through a cluster.

it is going up, you were right ... but for me since i am a newbie and already got a succesful trade i am going to watch a film, leave the buy limit at 1309 and if i see later it doesnt happen i will just cancel the pending order as no idea what willl happen once the london market oppens.

Generally true but I had to go long with what could be an upward drift in the eur/usd. First, the Chinese announcement that they are willing to buy 4-5 bln in Port. debt leads me to believe they have a bigger hand & desire in a firm euro than they are letting us believe. Second, euro appears oversold, we had a good buy spike on the hrly 10 hrs ago that was protected when market tried to sell 3 hrs ago. Could be wrong but this pup looks like it's ready to try a bit of upside.

Japan Increases Its Borrowing Limit For FX Intervention
Reuters is reporting that Japan will look to increase the ceiling for JPY borrowing specifically for FX intervention by 5 trillion in 2011/12. This will give them ammunition in the order of 35 trillion JPY. Remember that Japan spent just over 2 trillion JPY on intervention on September 15th. There is a train of thought in the market that Japan will do something extra special early in 2011 to try and drive USD/JPY back towards parity.

Do you have an upside target for today? We would channel very nicely, when we would top out between 3138 and 3153, but on the other hand 3184 would give a nice picture, too. Fib targets for this last leg up (fib extensions) are:

62% 3140
100% 3174
162% 3229

Good morning,

cleaning up and reading quite a bit of stuff.

I'd prefer a rejection at daily resistance around 1.351 with London opening, as we won't get any action from Frankfurt today.

Yesterday's rejection at the thick tl was strong, but is to be tested again. I will take a close look at the volume of the test. If volume is low, then it is most likely that we go up. But then again, the rejection didn't lift us up far enough.

I will not look for any longs below 3200, I still have one short opened with SL slightly above 3200.

The situation we are in right now, right above a TL is what cost me enough, so I will just enjoy what I have or re-evaluate.
