Another perfect day for the NY open. We are where we need to be. The market is showing us we are at a critical level.

We are exactly at the same point I highlighted a few days ago, 3092 for 3061. The same levels and numbers have been in play all week.

The market wants to see 3061 before Fx green has any chance in his longs.

The last few days have been a classic selling of rallies to get us to 3061.

Breaking point is upon us, and a solid break will give us 2700 eventually, a hold here will bring us back to the topside and we can expect skyzer and fxgreen going on about their perfect longs again.

This week has been a boring play for 3061. Continuous rallies to obvious resistances to give us 3061.

Not going to trade much from here on but going to keep my eyes on the levels to see what January is going to bring us.

Excellent charts. The reason why charts work when used properly is that the stronger traders and the hedge funds see them as well. Sometimes mindless robots enter trades at certain trip points. That is usually over longer time frames than 1 minute or 5 minute or 15 minute.

What sometimes does not work is that the direction of the Charts can change around 100% and it always has to do with a NEW Economic FACT or EVENT that the market was not expecting. I have seen at times the better Chart services and callers change their direction 3 times in one day.

WHY ?

I guarantee 100% that if the Dow were to go UP or DOWN 250 points in one day then ALL the Charts on EUR/USD would change.

Knowing what might cause the Dow to go up or down 250 is an EDGE.

We go back to important EVENTS whether news or geopolitical like say North Korea which is Risk Aversion and that moves markets, perceptions, fears, the charts and again it is the FLOW of money between Asset Classes.

until we close under tl.. i don't put a hf spike off the table. i have seen some nice ones before in dec. 3089/90 were good supports.. but i don't put any spike out of the question. if we dont close this hour under 3066.. we invite a little spike. i got the tl at about 3060/70... so a close below this on bigger tf will help.. its just that close..

MY Live FXCM UK trading platform shows these currencies side by side for me. I have 12 windows open in a grid of 4 and 4 and 4 below each other.

From Left to right;

EUR/USD EUR/JPY USD/JPY USD/CAD


GBP/USD USD/CHF AUD/USD XAU/USD


SPX500 XAG/USD USOil US30

That lets me watch the correlations live and I use it for my trading decisins especially trading EUR/USD as I only trade that now on the SHORT side.

I will NOT TRADE until EUR/USD gets back to 1.3100 and suerly not until next week.

Patience and a Trade Plan will be a big help to you.
