From a fundamental point of view, the buyers on that bar (for whatever reason they bought), which comes from the open a lows, are real fundamental strong money, not a randon swing in a intraday timeframe. Anyone agrees that something smell fishy to the fact of CPY's China to be released on a Sat GMT time?

I read publications that is their intention to make the US Dollar to dive down.

rate hikes have the opposite effect. China was expected to hike but they did not and just raised the capital reserve requirements for their banks - meant to slow lending down a bit

dollar strength story, including increasing Treasury yields, is interesting in light of the continuing QE2 operations by the Fed.

I don't get it. But then again I'm not that bright.

thanks for pointing this out. i was of the opinion that asia agreed on a controlled devaluation by around 3%/annum.

the beef with China is that they have not allowed the RMB to strengthen far enough fast enough - this has been going on for years

Increasing Treasury yields... Makes purchasing T.B more lucrative for investors, and or to offer interest on the vast amount of debt that the FED is buying.

It's all a vicious cycle.. print money(QE2) buy T.bills (Debt) and jack up the yield to earn interest on the mayhem that they created. Banking...

It's definitely a way to make some dollar dump deals while the market sleeps. Creates the Gaps as well. Just like how the Stock market Gaps. They make the $$ and we suffer on the opening. I think that the markets should be open 24/7 to avoid these Insider deals.

yeah, except that QE2 was supposed to have the opposite effect - driving bond yields down

something will happen soon.... patience people... I'm bullish on this.. the fact that dips below 3200 were refused - pretty aggressively says we will go further up... sure there will be more attacks at the 32 level... if it manages to hold a daily close below 3200 i'll go short...

Well it looks everybody has gone i am at a loss of more than 1000$ today.anyway it was a bad bad week for me down 9000$ this week. Wish you luck and hope i survive the next week and its a better 1

I know. It's weird that we are seeing the opposite take place. I'm sure you have heard of the next bubble...

We did see yields drop before the initial figures of QE2, however, as investors still believe US is a safe haven at this current crisis from the EU, Bonds are still being bought up. Now the higher yields are obviously being manipulated and are probably only short-term til we have stability in the next investment.

plz explain me the lesson coz i was trading what it looked and i still beleive it should have gone down but all of a sudden without any news you see a spike now no 1 predicted it .
