coffee? i don't have any position at the moment... waiting for all this figs comes out and let it cools down to look for direction... scalping with this volatility is good... just be nimble...

there should be another leg up... but wait for a minor correction...

damage was roughly 35% from this morning profit... but still a lot of foreign caps...

can be a bloody night for me tonight...

Fine - glad to hear that you are still in profit.

i'm very tempted to deploy long scout... but i'm sitting on my fingers discipline....

but there's a good potential for EU... long??? i can still make a good profit in the next leg... but if retrace will be more than halfway the first leg... then i might aswell cancel...

Well -why do I have not flipped on the way up?
Good question.

The move started as a typical move, when a market is going to close (TY in this case). There was a suprising move up of EU in asian session and the players had to adjust their psotions. Cause most of them are long USD, they had to reduce/adjust their positions a little, which means selling USD.
I saw my view supported, because DAX/DOW and Gold did not follow that move up. After we have gone up further, there have been triggered several SL's . Resulted in a vv strong move.

Becuse of that in mind I expected a retracement/correction of this leg afte TY had closed. After moentum stalled and a top was building, I send in my rescue troops. I wanted to let them in till we would have reached the 38.2 fib retracement around 3622 (where we are atm). But the increasing momentum let me close rescue with 10 pips profit.
PA wnt up for a retest of high, but momentum was stalling again and DAX/DOW, Gold still not following, I sent in second rescue.
Took them out after 10 pips, becuase I was in good profit now and momentum was fading. Market starts to jump up and down in 8 pip jumps ...

Still not sure, if we will see a continuation withpout help of Ireland or Greece news for now. Or US Unemployment may give direction .....

crystal clear... but what is your feel at the moment... low momentum but do you reckon it's still dollar bears?

That move also caught me out by going so high. I attempted a rescue at 1.3620 area. Pulled the plug at -2% Will take a rest for a while after that. Glad that you both have plenty in profit. Enjoy the comments. All the best Ray

Hmmh - atm pa is exactly support by Pivot R1 line at 1.3622.
Because I think the move was an "accident" I'm not sure about continuation. But the market will have to correct some more USD bull positions. Only PA can tell.
Expect range between daily high an R1 level. Bias LONG now, cause it is more likely to get good news from Ireland and Greece, than bad ...

But I'm feeling not very convinient with that ...

just wondering... EU looks like a 1,2,3 set up for long... or can be a breakout-pullback set up too... just thinking...

Have sannec EU charts now down from w,d,H4 to H1.
Of course the past cnadles show that move up.
But the "reversal" yesterday is not looking so perfect/Strong to me.
My feeling says, that we are still in EU down trend overall ...

Cool - cause I'm not that strong in chart pattern reading. Can only feel the market in the here and now based on vola and momentum.
So we are a perfect team :-)
