These r another two trades I open in London session, just close them coz the price jumping so quickly and I think a retracement will occur later. uj+75pips, ej+110pips.

I still hold eu,uc. They didnt touch my stop loss (under support line).

Correct. As u know my stop loss is around 20-30pips, i expect my return bigger than that. Usually I only trade 1 time for each single ccy one day and hold it until the trend's turning weak.

Hi Dave. Congrats. on 1500 attachments! Another milestone. And as regards placing timeframes on your charts - I am on David's side. Everyone else does it, but who am I to request the thread originator to do this. Cheers.

The "grinder" failed to hit tp2 but the object was just to grab a few pips whilst the market makers position themselves for the mornings games.

At least I was ready for the m15 reversal long.

We got a 1 min eur entry but out way too soon pre news. Just a note/reminder to self to be a lot more aware of 1hr hl/lh''s that kick back in with trend.

Pips on interest rate days for us always a bonus but I do have to look at the number of times we get out too early, especially on a pull back and move back in line with the trend.

The peer pressure too much, times added to charts.

Hi
Saw this 15M hammer off the trend line (rejecting a breakout and open) and got in on 1M HL. Target was M3 20 pips hit. Moved stop to BE just before LO at +10

Haven't been happy earlier this week with news and chop around the times I could trade but today I was able to trade during FH.

Do u use small tf when trading in big tf? In bigger tf, i found there r more chances for hh/ll or breakout entry rather than hl/lh one. If we hold the entry and wait for pullback in 15m chart...well,the price not always back int the beginning of a strong trend(eg, EU 15m chart today).

Like I've said before any set up as long as the entry is from hl/lh's.

Very nice and the use of 26 sma is obvious from the couple of notes shown but seems to be 60 sma good angle and any retrace that does not cross 26 sma = good trade or add onto trade.

Hi Boom,

I always try to trade with the bigger TF, however I am happy to trade the retracement provided I see a valid trend through SR and a clear gap to next SR on the lower TF.

I understand breakout trading but do not see myself as a breakout trader,

Vantages hl / lh entries fascinate me because I like to trade them as nested reversals, that is all in the same direction / sync.

The m5 pattern inside the m30, inside the H1, inside H4 etc, etc.

It is the trend analysis that hopefully gets me back into the trade in the right direction.

I hope that all makes sense.

Just trends within trends.

This is the after-news trades i did today,bf that was regular trading i mentioned yesterday. Same method, nothing magic, u just need to practise and will be consistently profitable soon. For MA line strategy(or all of strategiys), the most important is that we should know WHEN to trade,WHICH pairs to trade and when to stay away from mkt.
