I was wrong yesterday...Bears have come back. I'm seeing the ultimate support at around 3680. May be tomorrow in london we'll see that level.. for now it's gonna range...

Ok first of all, drop that Forex smooth indicator. It is a scam. Stochastics is also a nonsense.
Do u really think that big institutional players, banks, hedge fund managers will sell when Stochastics or any other indicator give such a signal?
Silly blue or green line doesnt tell you anything. Believe me.
I don't use them for entry or exact exit, but I do find them useful just for gauging overbought oversold when I am looking at possible entry.
So, if I'm thinking of a short and the stochastics are all in overbought territory it helps as an indication it could be a good trade.
If I'm looking for a long and the stochs are overbought, it's a good indication I may might want to wait and see what see.
I use 8,3,3 on the EU on 5, 15, 30, 4H, D, + the Trendmagic indicator.
The stochastics often line up appropriately on 5M -30 for good short term trades.
I do however agree that using solely stochastics as your edge is nearly impossible as they often whip back and forth and reverse their positions. So, in and of themselves are not a good trading method edge.
They look great in hindsight, but forward trading reveals the downfall of using them only.
But, they are good as an overbought oversold gauge, and can often help to spot good retrace entry points in a larger trend.
