But that was a 10-day difference in candles lol (15 Oct 2010 jumping to 25 Oct 2010. It didn't show for other brokers so I guess it might be something wrong with the one that I am testing with?

you guys having this problem with missing candles/history:

not the scripts' fault. that's mt4 fault. MT4 is a good platform but as soon as you start downloading history, you start getting price gaps. i get them in way past history as well. nothing you can really do about it. sometime a datafix mode for this stuff won't fix it because too much is missing. it's supposed to be for maybe but a few candles. maybe zz can say something about that i don't know.

Its important to say that I trade Basket only for catch 50–100 pips every time. I use Steve's Multi purpose trade manager for take profit. BE 13 Trail 50% from 20 Euro. Profit use to be 50-70 pips.

Hi All

I have that problem when i lose connection with mt4.

Just right click on the chart where you have the #T101# indicator, select indicator list and open up the T101_PriceHistory...., just press OK and it should fill in the lost bars.

Victor...after you attach the indicator to 1 hr or daily chart it shos a green label at the bottom right..NOW go to File menu at the top left and when you click File you will see Open Offline ..click that now this offline chart combines all currencies in basket...Now use this with any indicator you like

create one buy 14 pair scripts and one sell 14 pair scripts,

no conditions 1, 2 ,3 ,4,only use protecting account and opening.

Sorry Victor57, i did not see your earlier post. I see spiderforex helped you out.
Did you come right?

Any way i have another setup that might help new basket traders.

-Attach the T101_Indy_PriceHistory_vs-dnk to any four charts.

- Set the first chart T101_Indy_PriceHistory_vs-dnk to M15, the second to M30, the third to M60 and the fourth to M240.

- You can now open an M15,M30,M60 and H4 T101 offline charts.

-Attach all the indicators and the attached Color Stochastic to each offline chart.

- Enter in the M15 chart and as long as the color stochs stays below 50 then you stay in the trade.

- If the color stochs breaks the 50 on both the M15 & m30 Then we exit.

-I advise you to use the color stochs with caution as it repaints. Trying to create stoch bars for better signal. Still a good signal indi though.

Try it. I made good pips yesterday.

StochBars

Here is a Indicator that i modified for the T101 offline charts.

I know that what i am presenting here is nothing new, ....except for the fact that we are trading 8 to 14 pairs and as such if we only have one decent setup in a day, ....well the result is 200 to 500 pips in the bank.

I use the M15 & M30 StochBars for my Entry & Exit.

You had mentioned that the stoch indicator repaints, do you know why that is?
What's the difference between using it and just throwing the regular stoch on the offline chart? Stoch's shouldnt repaint should they?
Have you noticed whether your stoch bars are repainting as you said as well?
Thanks for sharing this, would be nice to be able to look back on the offline chart without repainting issues to try to formulate a trading plan, only reason I am askin

Hi tazmaan

What i mean by repainting is that the fast line, only on the "color stochastic" in this example might break through the 50 line by 5 or 10 points only to retract again to below the 50 line, if there is a retraction on that particular candle.

Thats why it is a better signal to wait for the next tf to break the 50 as well.

But you are just talking current bar right? Once the bar closes the position of even the stoch fast line is locked into place isn't it?
If yes, then its not repainting, everything has to continue to adjust while the bar is still open.
I'll throw it on some of the offline charts I am playing with and see if I can make judgement on whether it repaints past bars data or not.

I seem to have caused confusion by saying that the stoch indicators are repainting.

They do not repaint.

Once the bar has closed and the next one opens, then that color is locked in and will not change again. ON ALL THE INDICATORS.

As per my post above i was only referring to the one Indicator called "Color Stochastic" and referring to the current bar only.

It shows that i must word my meaning more accurately next time.

I apologize to everyone.

Here you go.
Set the Basket to 2.

I do not quite know how this will work out as the 2 pairs are almost a perfect hedge. (Maybe a straight line. lol)

But I thing that this is incorect becouse it looks like Buy EURUSD and BUY USDCHF And i want to have Buy EURUSD and Sell USDCHF so i schould be opposite to a straight line...

so lets say if a move of eurusd (open position buy EURUSD) 50 pips up candle and a move on usdchf (position short on USDCHF) 50 pips candle down schould give a basket candle of 100 pips ... only asking

Just kidding about the straight line thing.

If i am correct, the candles will reflect the "sum of" the two pairs.
If the EURUSD is the dominant pair in an upwards mometum, then the candles will go up, albeit at a slower rate.

Which brings me to the conclusion that you may have an interesting strategy on the 2 pairs.

In the above case, if the EURUSD is in fact the dominant pair then you can Buy both pairs and still end up with a sizable profit. If it goes against you then the loss will not be so great because of the Hedge factor.

Just thinking out loud.

EDIT - I removed the indicator that i tried to modify to Gollum99988 as it did not work.( Goes to show that i must test before posting)

GVC's T101_Indy_PriceHistory_vs-dnk is very perfectly.
But who can accorde to T101_EA_KOS_CHAVO_E creating one buy14 pair scripts and one sell 14 pair scripts,no conditions 1, 2 ,3 ,4,only use it protecting account and opening.

It will be very very perfectly!
