Back up your allegations with proof. Let's see some screenshots of the trades you took, or tired to, and were blocked.

I've traded with MB for my whole FX career although I never switched my stock account over to them. I have never been stopped out by a "stop hunt" from them. I have however had several days which were full of order execution issues, and I felt like I was calling a stoner office because I got relayed around their phone system trying to get sells through like a shady girl downtown on a friday night.

ok, 10k lots is possible. it does not mean thou that it will be executed eventually. and believe me, if anyone would be trading 10k lots - those guys would do it through prime broker directly(which is definitely not my case size wise). Stop hunting - not sure it is possible in a regulated firm. For sure they have a and b books, which is fine by me.

hm... do you try to trade 10000 lots? or 500 lots? how do you know they lie, i don't because my lot size isn't that big YET, however i still trust MBtrading.

btw why you make such comments? please be aware that someone might take it seriously please provide solid fact proof, as far i know you are still trading with 1/10 lots trades, right?

I don’t know where you get your information. It’s very easy to test that we accept 10,000 lot orders. Simply place once and let me know if you get rejected (outside of any buying power issue, but of course, if you are making a comment like this, you must have enough buying power to have tried, right?)

This has been covered in depth on this board in the past, but I’ll give a short version again just to make it easy.

The idea that size under a mini lot can’t be passed through to banks is a myth perpetuated by the deal desks that used to want to cast doubt on STP brokers. We don’t hear it much anymore. So let’s address what that would mean.

It would either mean that there is a technological reason that that size can’t be passed or a business reason that that size can’t be passed through.

On the technology side, are people really suggesting that banks can’t change their programming to go out an extra decimal place or two? They did it with PRICING by going to 5 decimals, why couldn’t they do it with size? Of course they can and it was done long ago.

On the business side, it has nothing to do with commissions. At the Interbank level, it’s about whether banks want an execution or not. Each banking relationship we have is based on a negotiation. Now, I realize that a desk would never have been through this process, but as we set up our relationships with banks, what do you think happens if we say “We have X amount of volume that we will pass out to the market based on customer mini orders” and that X is a decent monthly size. And then we say, “In order to have a chance to receive that volume, you have to obviously be willing to accept orders down to micros.” Then what happens when the first two banks in our system decide that they do want a chance at that volume and accept minis because the total number of volume over the course of a month is a great number? And then what happens when we go to the other banks and say, “If you don’t accept smaller size, we can’t route all of this volume to you, it will only be routed to the banks that will accept those orders.” The whole concept of the banks is that they want orders routed to them. Do you really think they benefit by saying, “No, we aren’t interested in that volume.”? Makes no sense. Remember that we execute all day with the banks for you, and at the end of the day, we just net out Euros and Pounds and Dollars between them and us in one transaction that totals all of the net volume for the day.

Just remember that there are a lot of customers with smaller balances out there that total a lot of volume over the course of a day, and then think through carefully the argument that “you can’t trade size below minis in the Interbank system.” Basically, what you are saying is that the big banks don’t want a chance at any volume they can get, or you are saying that they can’t add a decimal place to a number? Now, I can see that they wouldn’t just take this from any Joe Schmoe broker out there because why would they want to add 0.5 lots per day in volume for the hassle. But there’s a difference between saying that it CAN’T be done (which is very black and white) and saying that it is a negotiation based on what two parties agree to. Search your heart, you know it to be true.

Does your in-house trading platform only work during certain market hours. I opened a demo acct, but couldn't get a connection. This was around 9PM yesterday... I live near you guys in San Pedro.

Also, does that platform have VWAP available or custom indicator capabilities?

Can you confirm which platform you are referring to?

If you downloaded and signed up for a demo of our MT4 platform, it will not be active until 5pm EST today.

MBT is included, so I thought I'd post this here.

This survey states MBT has just under 5,000 clients with descretionary accounts who have an average profitability of 24%.

Justin, are these number correct?


What surprised me most is how few descretionary accounts there are total, across all brokers.

Also that Oanda outscores the rest of the pack by a large margin in terms of trader profitability at 51%. I'm curious why it would be double the average of the rest of the brokers.

How come dukascopy allows trader to have no maximum lots "per order" while mbtrading allow traders until maximum of 5 million units only?
