If we can get a 4hr close above 1.5963 my target will be 1.6014. A close above there will bring 1.6105 and 1.6161 into view as my next longterm targets. 4hr charts with fibo and EMA's. Will use lower TF's for short term trades off bounces etc...

See a nice move? Often if you look back you'll find it was
triggered off of a compression pattern in a primed TF.

Here's a move (1m [b]) within a move (5m [A]) and both
released off of a C-pattern formation.

Is this not just a normal break-out pattern? Consolidation will gather all ma's together.
Or are you looking for something special here?

Yes... consolidations are continually forming but the challenge is in
determining on a naked chart when or if a significant (not so normal)
breakout will actually occur?

I use it as a visual timing tool. It reduces screen time but beyond
that, an interesting phenomenon is always occuring as the EMA's
gather and draw together (regardless of the TF). Energy builds
during this process and inevitably should all the EMA's pinch tightly
together an imminent breakout will occur. And often the tighter
the formation, the greater the magnitude of the move (relative to
the TF). More often though a gathering of EMA's may never fully
mature into a tightly formed compression pattern and only separate
again or rollover (crossover) preventing what I consider is an optimal
trade opportunity from developing where sufficient energy has build
up to produce the near vertical movements in PA as is often seen in
these situations.

Even the separations or rollover / crossover patterns that may
frustrate the completion of a CRS in one TF are actually the result
of a successful CRS pattern(s) in some lower TF that moves in a different
direction. Small waves building or negating larger waves. The perfect
storms happen when the smaller TF patterns join in concert with the
formation of higher TF patterns and transfer their released energy to
the larger TF patterns in a sequential fashion.

Just my observation.

All EMA's applied to Close: 6, 18, 36, 54, 72, 90, 108, 126, 144
(200 dotted not used in the pattern... only used as a respected s/r and
target reference area)

Well done, my account was the opposite, I had this set to fall and woke up to -60 means i'll have to work harder just to B/E today.

Night trades don't seem to work for me, will have to steer clear in the future.
