I guess someone has to pay for the longs, no? Out of curiosity, what are ur motives for saying stuff like this? Are u basing ur opinion because of what's happening on usd/jpy?

Based on the results of BOJ intervention so far, the best short would probably be to wait for the next intervention and then trade the fade.

I wonder how long it will take the BOJ that their interventions are too short lived to really make a difference.

The upper TL comes in at 133.54.

PA on GY seems very bullish since the Sunday open; just close a M15 bar that looks bullish and beyond testing Friday's high of 133.76, I'd not be surprised to see 134 resistance reached in Asia, with a visit to 135 at some point; just don't think the Friday run and melt-up is done just yet - it would be too simple to assume that was last week and that there's no more left for this week.

There was buying of sterling last week, and I expect GU to head upwards as well; GY of course will depend on what UJ does, but, sterling solely I think has enough gusto to set the course.

4 Me...

4 hr is gettIng pretty overbought.... but that can change.. as they are good at fixing indicators...by making Hidden Divergence..

134.33 is a strong resistence..( Fib confluence area) if it closes above 134.67..... we shall have a Double top..slightly higher to 135.06..

Any thing above that is Bullish.... I have my fingers on sell button....AT ABOVE LEVELS...( MY PREFERRED SCENARIO)

I believe if not above mentioned levels...we shall see 128 Again.... WITH A Pit stop at 132.20..

Otherwise the word attachment I mentioned last week about TERMINAL IMPULSE Upward will happen( can also be called INTERVENTION)

SO HAVE A STOP LOSS READY

Euro.... Dont even think about shorting...If you miss the boat...dont worry..you will get a better chance to short . I will try and keep you posted... For E/U .. I will only short this when it gets to 1.4069....

What we have on Daily or 4 hr chart is called ascending SCALLOP.....look at www.thepatternsite.com... 'J' Formation...

KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--Japan's recent yen-selling intervention won't undermine multilateral efforts to get China to boost the yuan's value, a former top Japanese official said Monday.
"It shouldn't be a problem," International Monetary Fund Deputy Managing Director Naoyuki Shinohara told Dow Jones Newswires.
"Mixing up the issues is dangerous," he said in an interview, because "the yuan is clearly undervalued" while Japan's intervention efforts are aimed at preventing excessive volatility in the currency market.
Japan's Finance Ministry intervened Sept. 15 for the first time since March 2004 after the yen hit a series of 15-year highs against the dollar. The government has vowed to continue intervening if needed.
Some critics have said Japan's re-entry into the currency market complicates efforts by the U.S. and other governments to push Beijing into letting the tightly controlled yuan rise faster.
Shinohara, Japan's vice finance minister for international affairs from 2007 to July 2010, declined to comment on specific levels where Tokyo might intervene.
Asked if Japan might sell the yen against the euro as well as the dollar, he said, "It's a dollar/yen game. Most people in Japan worry about the dollar rate because the U.S. is the main market."

you know i've always wondered how they defined "excess volatility". Wouldn't a 200 pip spike over a period of 15 minutes be considered as such? Political euphemistic spin doctor hard at work.............
