Right... I have a FXCM demo also, which I don't use anymore but is still active, and I went to check on it - as you say, it doesn't look like his.

But some time ago, someone asked the same question and was convinced it was due to having a demo instead of a real account;
At the time, myself and some others also with FXCM demos available showed that it wasn't the reason, cause ours was good.

Don't know if it might have something to do with localization, or used server...

I have studied Peters method and believe it does have potential. The part I like about it the most is his trade management. He protects his trade very quickly the lets the 'free' trade run.

However, 4300 pips letting his short trades run? There is only a 700 ish pip difference between June and now. 4 of those weeks are up weeks........
He has 7 positions open on that pair, one thing i am starting to do is add to winning positions as they run, i mean, if you catch a nice trend why not add to it at every possible opportunity.

I just emailed FXCM about it. I'll keep a closer eye on IBFX volume, but the reason I went from them to FXCM's volume was because of the same issue.

I have a ThinkOrSwim demo, could I use that for futures volume?

I'm not sure what to do, trade futures or get Esign.

Definately add to good positions where safe to do so, I've said it before, thats how you make money in this game in my opinion.

A pip is a pip is a pip. If he is adding to his position, It's his position size thats changing. He might be saying that he has 1 lot running from yesterdays trade and 1 lot running from todays trade so that doubles the pip count from today onwards ie 2 lots at 50 pips proft = 2 * 50 = 100 pips made. This is a popular way of artificially increasing your pip count. BTW in DIBS trade management, you remove about 2/3 of your position and let only 1/3 run (this assumes he is following DIBS as Peter teaches it).

As long as he's making money I'm pleased for him.

There was definately something fishy going on. I made a few pips on the markets reluctance to go up after that U wide U high volume down bar. Chart.

Not sure I could see that move coming tho.

look for testing on down moves to get long in uptrend it is the best entry

I trade 3 lots make 100 pip does that mean i make 3000 pips ? I guess so

a 100 pip move is 100 pip no matter which way you dice it,

right now I have 65 pip on a 4 standard position in uj after the testing in london , as far as I am concerned it is 65 pip

My 9th VSA Trade (Live).

Executed Order.
EUR/USD - Short
Date: 15-Sep-10
Time: FxPro 11:00
Entry: 1.2976
SL: 1.3026 (-50 pips) (Above 1st Upthrust )
TP: 1.2926 (+50 pips)

Reasons:
Note the Red vertical line, the bar after this line is my signal bar.
Background Weakness, 2 UpThrusts.
Sell on Low of 2nd UpThrust Bar.
Hull Green on M15 and H1.
Hull Red on M30.

Attached:
M15
Entry (small Yellow horizontal line),
SL (small Red horizontal line),
TP (small Green horizontal line).

I will inform of exit result no matter it is profit or loss.

Final Result.
The above order hit SL: 1.3026 (-50 pips).

Hey bud,

I personally wouldn't have been looking for shorts on eurusd today because I prefer to trade with the trend. It's always a good idea to short a weak pair and go long the strong ones.

Oh please tell them, tell them. It beats me each time I hear people counting pips like that.. LOL. If pips were obtained across several pairs then that would be a different case and I can agree with that.

how i can start chart at from different time like 00:05, 00:20, 00:35, 00:50, 01:05, etc..

For example, i want to start 15 min chart from 00:10 or 00:05
