Im not 1000% certain that I have my fib drawn correctly but I know it is close. I'll be jumping the gun when I buy at the break of this last bar printed but that's how I trade. BTW, my ATC Feed is showing this bar already closed and so that is why I am planning a buy at 1.0598. I'll manage from there. Thanks for all your notes ThomKnight, very informative stuff for certain. It has really given me some new perspectives.

I might look at it like this... this is also a swing fib and the 50% is boxed in nicely.

Thom, would you use a stop on that trade? Where would you put it? Is this one you would leverage up or is that only on the 61-p-50?


EDIT: I think I know the answers but I'm not 100% sure.

I was looking at the USD CHF seeing as the rest of you blokes are. Thom has form fitted his fib which does line up rather nice with s/r. I have been slightly different and gone for the next sequential pull ( I think it is anyway, Thom please could you verify). I then looked at pulling the red fib from the high tracking down. I used a 15min to find s/r. I have placed a trade (demo) long at 1.0563 with a stop at 1.0525, pt 1.0665. My red fib could be of dubious nature but it's worth a test.

I am showing the zero line at 1.0635 and Monday's high is 1.0639.

A 61.8-38.2 inverted hammer / pin bar on the Nzd/usd, with a 138.2 confluence ( orange fib ).

A zero break to 138.2 was good for around 75 pips.

I have two reasons to take this trade at the break of the 1.5575. The first chart shows an I4B on 4 hr. The break lower of this will coincide with the zeroline of my fib plot.

Dude! That lined up nicely. I shorted off the same pin but for fewer pips. Great trade Skong!

You could well be right buddy, I did force the red fib on my chart so I may take a (demo) hit but I have managed my risk accordingly. I took this GU long though...

I spotted it late but I have positive RR.

Left fib is in red and the 61.8 is pull down to the next level.
Right fib is in green and the 1.382 is hit to the pip kind of.
Black fib on the right also hit it's 1.382 target.

I knew that it was time to go long and pull my black fib when My green fib hit to the pip and also when I pulled my red fib down to the next 61.8 level and it didn't give me a trade. Im thinking that these two points are good places to watch and trade in the opposite direction. This is why I pulled the black fib and went long. This stuff is really coming together!!!!

From what I'm looking at 1.0480 looks a possiblity.

Yes but 1.0507 must fail first. From what I have seen, a pierced fib is only good if the previous cycles 138 has been pierced. I know I have mentioned that in private but I'd kinda like to see what Thom's and Eggster's thoughts are on that.
