i do see good descending triangle developing last 24h
if we break it down 133.4 is next
if up, may be another 135.5 supported by bullish divergence
I'm favor of downside

I've been watching the gy for a while today... seems like 134.50 is the stalling point then it goes down...question is will this go on all night or are we on the way down to 133.5....

Looking at the Wave Count from 131.40 .. looks like we had our wave#1 till 135.79...right now consolidating WAVE#2...and wave#3 UP should start now...

Just an observation.... So Bias is UP...IMO...

5 min..15 min..1 HR....Still a Bull Flag....

I am expecting 136.80- 137.36 to get hit before 133.40...

Max down price for now 134.12...Of course as usual could be wrong...

I'd been talking to some veteran traders recently on this, and apparently the selection of brokers that today will pay you swap has severely diminished. The carry trade was popular for this many years ago, but it's one of those frills that is incredibly hard to find with new broker accounts I'm told. Some are apparently stuck to honouring it based on when you signed up with a specific broker, and the T's & C's that applied back then, whereas new accounts receive different T&C's, with the same broker. And, if the T&C's can be changed on the fly (like with my phone company, ISP provider, etc.), perhaps that's all that IBFX has done. Might be an idea to pose the question to them explicitly - nothing wrong with that.

On GY, I'm bearish. This is the time we should wake up, and I might be looking for shorts around 134.6 or below 135/135.2, but really depends what the Franki boys throw at us - would not surprise me to see them run it up once or twice to the same levels (as they did yest. morning), only to have it fail (perhaps expecting it to fail) and get hit by shorters. Might have to reconsider if we surpass yesterday's high, but I also think the equity markets straight up fume driven ride of the past 6-7 days, has run out of magic dust.

If my guess works out, then my 1st TP will be 133.3. Am also thinking whatever today's trend is as set by London, will continue into the NY session.

EDIT: Added D1 chart with a previous triangle breakout, and screenshot the MT4 crosshair to show if today's candle comes down to my declared support at 133.3, that coincides with the top of the triangle/TL: GY has a tendancy to exhibit this type of behaviour throughout all chart timeframes; in this case, a range of 100 pips from the current daily low would not be unusual. How it behaves there, we'll declare and call when it arrives. (Oh, and I probably shouldn't call it a breakout from the triangle, because I'm bearish!)

I'm short at 134.65 even if frankie wants to take it up a bit, the 4hr chart looks like the move is headed south..IMHO...

Not sure where the CNBC article is now but the gist of it was Barack Obama proudly announced that his bold Job creation stimulus plan created or saved 3 million jobs.......... and it only cost $862 billion.

Good Job Barry, you just blew $287,333.33 per job.

Yep, I read that article ... quite concerning. Here's the write-up from The Independent: Britain's Debt - The Untold Story

What I don't get is that news and article came out on Wednesday, and I can't recognize any equity or fx market reaction. That's weird, only because of the stellarness of the news; can you imagine it having come out in the days or weeks before May 6? Yet today, the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is to ignore all bad and attrocious news, and cast it aside - after all, what do the equity and fx markets have to do with the unemployed, uncontrolled debt, severely empty gov't coffers ... it's all (solely!) about company earnings! It's actually getting sickening watching the bullish talking heads on Bloomberg declaring how wonderful companies are doing, ignoring the deep societal changes that their USA is going through. Anyways ... that fills my daily quota of being P O'ed !

I just came across this UK version of the debt clock - fascinating, and very real; graphic candy included below. If you don't know about the US and Canadian versions, enjoy them too. I bet there's a whole line of these for all the euro countries - would love to see their URLs, numbers and real people impact, if anyone has 'em!
