yeah, I saw it on my own charts also, but a few hours ago I thought it would brake, but I stopped trading (+50pips) and now I was curious for the fomc thing, I did'nt think about the weekly trendline, but you are probably right...

I'd be purely guessing with an answer to that. But it was on the chart (5 day)...she put in a lower high around 1:00, and proceeded to sell off. Now we seem to be testing the break from below.....we'll see.

The FOMC decides US monetary policy. The reaction to this report was odd, since it is bearish, less optimistic than the previous ones and thus indicates that the US interest rates will be kept lower for longer. Normally I'd say such a message would be understood as USD bearish, but today it caused risk aversion as the Dow didn't seem to anticipate it. This caused the USD to rise a bit. Fundamentally though, it's a strong, long term USD bear message, as it indicates that progress is slow and rates might not be hiked for a while.

Trading markets with this much intervention is hard as hell. I just picked what I saw as long-term resistance. I've got one I'm still holding in drawdown, and one above in ample profit with profit locked....not to mention my longer term shorts. We'll see how this progresses, but for the time being bulls have been denied a base above 2746. As gator would say, it is times like these that you have to turn down the bullshit.

I see now on the 15M that M3 coincidence with the 50% fib retracement level of last rally. The last candles failed to make a new low and failed also to close below this level. If I see one white candle I'll go long again.

tell me about it .... i was stopped on 2 trades today, did not have a good day....first time thats happened in a while. Definetly a mental blow.....

There were a ton of headfakes today.....a lotta shorts got caught, now i suspect they will get the longs. Im out till I see some type of direction, its literally a coin toss, and Im not ronald raygun.....

You have two choices in conditions like this.....either be quick and go with the flow, quickly locking profit with tight stops......or sticking to your guns with proper money management and wider stops, calling bullshit. I tend to do a mix of both.
