one thing you must realise is that this thread has traders trading multiple TF's, there are lots of real time trades called, but often there's discussion around fundamentals and technicals instead of real time buy/sell. If you follow it you will know who's on the long or short side and why.

I'm mad a lot of traders posted SHORT (on Twitter) entries right after the ZEW release.

Nobody is going to do the hard work for you and then send you a free call.

Yes but there is a lot of noise on here aswell, sure i agree that some people hold very short lived trades. 70% of the trades i engage in i hold for no longer than 5-15 minutes. The rest are the ones i post charts on where i hold positions for a long period of time which usually net 150-200 pips. But its impossible to distinguish anything in this thread after a while since there is just so much noise going around here. Also one of the things that the banned poster stated correctly which i wholeheartedly agree with is that most people in here to put it plain and simple are morons, posting vague statements which arent really helping anyone and not usefull at all because they are common sense.

actually there are programs that do just that. you dont even have to execute the trade because it is all automated. look up zulutrade

In normal conditions, that would be bad for euro but this:
Greece sells 1.625 bln euros of 26-week t-bills, including 375 mln in non-competitive bids
may have been a better reason to go long. Who knows...

Bear missed two big opportunities. Portugal downgraded and worse zew survey data didn't push EURUSD as expected.
So greek auction takes eur on positive side. And i have to say bear weak against bull.

I did not wish to offend anyone I was just pointing the delay of posts and there value. Sure a min or 2, I just dont see the value of calling trades unless they are accurate. Clearly Im in the wrong thread.Sorry for any offence caused to you. I make a good living from trading and do not need to copy anyones trades,i was just hoping for like minded people

Guys...sometimes u need to wait.. I always say for my trading strategy as I trade intraday- m15( leafs) h1 (trees) h4 (wood ), for weekly "predictions" I consult weekly TF.

If u trade h4 TF be prepared to w8 a little bit longer. As i posted yesterday..entered long @ 2565 and 2600 was hit a little bit l8r. If u trade on m15 consult m5 and be prepared for short lived trades. I always like to share my point of view and analysis, and I dont expect everyone to agree with me.

That was my point. Traders were trading the wrong news. ZEW is a BS economic indicator. ZEW is basically asking institutional traders how they feel about the German market in the next 6 month. You can't based a counties economic on asking 300 traders what they think.

The better bet was to anticipate the Bond auction, an automatic win for the EUR. Greece unloading bonds = good for the EUR = bullish EUR sentiment. What amazed me was that, traders are SELLING because they anticipated ZEW release to be bad (which it was) so they decided to jump on the USD bandwagon (late) not taking into consideration the Bond Sale (everything must go).
