They were bitching about the snow having an effect on employment not 6 months ago, don't be surprised they bitch about the heatwave to have the same effect as well

I kept selling like I said, and closed at 134.00 with a very nice profit.
Reason I closed is that I need to go to sleep. Otherwise it would probably have been a real killer trade.

An increase in UK rates isn't expected nor likely: Australia's experiment to do so was premature and now regarded as unwise. The G8 economies & finance ministers talk and coordinate these things at a high level - Canada was expected to increase rates 1st prior to the US, but that's all been shelved given the neverending dismal economic #'s (and the realness of a China slowdown), and the UK was never really a candidate for rate increases until one of the already mentioned countries implemented an increase.

Do not forget that the 2 week delayed and revised UK GDP #'s are due out Monday July 12: I don't think there's a need to complicate this one - it's reasonable to assume they will pull something along the lines of "the #'s are far worse" so that has to be sterling negative IMO. They have stated something along the lines of "past #'s aren't to be impacted," but I'd bet there's some doublespeak in that wording.

GY floated up the last 24hrs solely because of strong equity markets, a backseated yen (not necessarily weaker), and a risk-on scenario. But the 135.7 & 136.4 ceilings are still a ways off, and another such bullish day this week isn't guaranteed. Even if UJ heads up, GY won't necessarily follow in tandem. We might get another 30-110 pips up from the recent 134.6, but until we break that ceiling (and retest it), I don't see bullishness. I also suspect big boys were shorting it over the last 300 pips rise. Yesterday's D1 has a healthy bounce up wick - let's see where today's closes; perhaps we need to get through this triangle - my vote is a break down.

yip...zoom in from A to B ,and B to C and D to E ,,wich waves had the most sellers or buyers ... look from low to hig's wich waves the powerfull thrusts insdie the wedge...then that side is the breakout....

as you can see the thrusts down south is much stronger and powerfull ..so the breakout will most likely go down south ,,but fck im not sure ..im still selling at 135.xx at 78.6 ,,will then determine wich way we will go ...but here is more sellers than buyers inside the wedge position themelf at the tops at 78.6 fibs...

thr best possible bet and safer route,,is selling at 135.44 ,,stop and reverse at 136 ,,but play for the breakout down south for 127 ... you risking only 60 pips for a 1000 pip move,,and if we decide to break out north ,you lost the 60 pips and immediately reverse for 142 ...

i dont see any up break not today,

Looking at the charts i am going short
sold GBP/JPY at 133.70
stop 134.60
target 132.10

Lets see how this play out.
