hmmm, i have the comments. still no red line yet. target is the current price. maybe it is still training. do the files in that src folder need to go into mt4?

am using alpari metatrader, but I have several copies of it on my computer. I'm guessing maybe the Fann installer didn't detect it for some reason

hmm, it just took a trade. sell 1.1922. T/P shows 0.0000.

experts tab does say invalid Take profit price for Order modify function.

SL /TP /Trailing -

most important. It's not reasonable to have settings as they are in default: 10 pips TP

and 140 SL.. Doesn't make any sense, it's like no stop loss at all. And unfortunately it's impossible

to backtest it, to verify best settings.

If we want it to trade 24 hours do we put "0" for beginhour and endhour?

If the TP is 10, what use does trail of 15 have?

Perhaps you should read the thread. The 140pip SL is a hard emergency stop. I can confirm the EA closes trades well before the SL.

Anyways, so far I'm in loss on Demo (2 loses 1 win), so whatever the Stop loss is..

Fann installer doesn't detect anything, just creates a new folder in Program Files

move Fann2Mql.dll to experts/libraries folder of your MT4

BeginHour 17
EndHour 16

Or

BeginHour 23
EndHour 22


Anything should work

Otherwise I cannot see the code, but this should work 24 hours

Just noticed the red line disappear in the middle of a trade. Also, there is no TP in the terminal. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

After a trade has been taken, I've seen the red line disappear. After awhile, the red line will appear again even if still in a trade. I don't know the logic of this EA so I don't know if that is out of the ordinary. I suppose not, otherwise why would it do that.

As for the TP. At first there was no TP in the terminal. But I noticed a TP appears after some time. I think the idea is to let the trade run at first, hence the trailing profit beyond TP value. I suppose if the trail is not triggered after a certain amount of time, then the TP kicks in. Not 100% sure, just guessing based on my observations so far.

my trade started out with 0 in the TP. then a value showed up a bit later.
I have yet to see a red line. I guess it is hiding

Thanks for providing tech support , I couldnt have done it any better.

As to your question, previous weights are being used for subsequent trainings. Only first time, weights are randomized.


Regarding making the EA trade all the time, set the TimeFilter to false, also if you are seeing too many closes in loss increase the threshhold from 70 to 100 or 120


Trail is not being used currently so ignore it (the EA has an internal fractal TS), but in a subsequent version we will incorporate external TS.

Once we have 10+ FF members have more than 50 pips in profit, I promise to publish the sourcecode.

Also feel free to try it on different currencies / time frames. It has also been doing ok on AUDCAD M30 - the key is you should have a low spread broker/pair
