i still dont have it all figured out though

i take a fair amount of losers ---- mostly bec i anticipate the moves most times based on PA off the inner fibs.

but i trade at a good R/R so it all works out ----- most times

UJ didn't go and got out at B/E ( really wasn't a real clear trade on that one)--- usually i either take a stop or take a target ---- lucky to get out at be i guess

hoping that the EJ goes now

took a small 2% winner on this EU

I am just following it down and tweaking as price moves. This is a forward test hence demo. Backtesting worked like a gem so if all goes to plan and it should.. we will have a nother tool to get into rather large sweeping moves with out our good friend drawdown. I active trading GY to 137.3 138 area if memory serves. UCHF is too slow for me.

Ej eh? 110.90 I have been heavily mucking about after puling out the gigantic fib since i have been bored... and if nothing else... if you cant trade it for the dickens.. it does ALWAYS give you good spots to start trading with a 138 to 138 Skunny tool....

Sure mate what is going on... you mentioned a failed UY trade.. lets que that up.

My only thought mate.. and this is personal preference... if you are trading untriggered from the inner supports.. like absolutely no way of knowing it will hit target you are gambling.. and obviously RR will save your bacon.. there are some ways to get pretty decent confirmation on this or at least cull out a lot of losers from inner fibtrading and we can go over that too if that is how you like to trade and are interested.

Another view notice most pierces... seem to appear to pins aka turns.. hence...well pin trading as it stand currently... is backwards most time perhaps.. and also this set nicely with 61.8 pierce retrace to the 100 and turn hence if using a stop it would pie to place a logical stop.

yeah the RR is what saves me

when i am anticipating the trigger being hit i will be nimble about getting out--- if it triggers then i will leave my stop and either take a loser or a winner at target

i am still watching other cycles for completion and trying to trade inside of those --- then trade off the PA

i would love if you would go over that

out with a few--- just noticed a long fib that i missed that was triggered

taking another shot at it down here off this failed lower low--- not really thrilled with this one and only risking 1%


took another short off the same fib on the UJ managed +4%--- my initial trade would have netted +10%---- oh well

had another fib that triggered off the bottom move, got in another 2% trade off that one

so i have 3% risk on this now ------- i will let the 2% addon get stopped at -2% if it happens and also take the 1% out at the same place

it will be around 1.3% loss vrs a very large amount at target of 111.04


had a few other scalps for 2% here and there


i read back over the last couple pages and it almost looks like i am turning this thread into my personal journal. not what i was trying to do.

i am going to post the ones that i trade that fail and see if anyone has any insight into those----

Hi everyone

Sorry for opening the can of worms.

Mister Daz nice calculating, yup 61.8 - 50 = 11.8 or 50 - 38.2 = 11.8
then added on around targets for bounce and continuation !!!!!!!



TK I agree we can extrapolate fibs out forever, but as you said it gets messy.

I use the fib I posted for confirmation with the 138.

You know Newtons Laws of motion:
"to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction"
that is what the "eggy fib" (thanks for the name) is all about.

But the beauty is they all fall into place together, its crazy.

How was the fishing trip?

I must admit I liked the formatting of your fib, it made it easier to control rather than adding levels above and below either end of the fib. The big question is, how do you trade it?

I think TK came up with Mega fib but Eggy fib sounds better, unless it's and eggy stinker of course, hah ha.

We had a blast, always do.
It is an annual trip with 10 -12 High School buddies 22 years and counting.

The fibs above are "snapped" at 100 the first ones were at 200.

TKs mega fib is too mega for me the eggy 200 will eventually be the mega 400 with a lot less noise.

I trade it in conjunction with the 138 fib, it shows other s/r levels.

And when they line up perfectly you know to take profit and reverse for a nice pullback or reverse.
