If we get that high today it might be gradually by 9am This is of course completely rediculouse but for some reason it works a lot?

its the usd/chf... a mirror image of eu... euro at 1.2200 is 12k pips fom 0
the top of that cup is 7k pips higher... if you take 12,000 and subtract 7,000
it puts the eu at .5000........ that's if usd/chf goes back to the year 2000 #
now if it goes back to 1978 thats about 18k higher.... 1.2 eu - 18k chf= -6k eu...

euro should of never been valued over cad, aud.. maybe the kiwi either. it will never regain its former height. it has no commodities and has weak banking.. and is losing market share in manufacturing. all things that will weaken euro further. high social cost and aging population will help this snowball.

Morning all . no trade yet today & just looking for one good by 4hr or so & by this time if scalping from lower tf for few pips only.

There seems a bullish abcd complete in h1 chart.

A buy set up perfection has occured with due retracement in a rally started , can be upto 1.2319>1.2366>1.2519>1.2577 ...if 1.2519 breaks up then any level up , never think of it though , price may range with 1.2518 last stop while down side no stop, put one 1.2123 & may not hold .

In h4 to complete the buy cd it may fall again to or below 1.2162 & at the same time it is in a down rally also . so down movements facilitated to any level but up limited or restricted perhaps before the decision.

Daily /weekly all want to retrace sufficiently before further fall but few candles down do not harm them any but to the bulls.

M30,15 either buy setup or in cd to have the signal .

so observing h4 decision before any good trade to take . minimum 4 hr or multiples to wait .

I'm right here and I explain why can't go to zero if you want.

This pair currencies values are based on the relationship between the two.

That is (a number)/(another number) thats the value of a currency divided by the value of another currency.

So, if the upper is greater than the lower number, we have a value > 1, but if the above number is smaller than the lower number, we would have a < 1 value, but always above 0. i.e. EUR/GPB 0.85 That means the EUR have a value lesser than the GBP, doesn't mean is going to be EVER zero.

yeah i got some old confederate money.. and yes its value is not 0... but that's only because of collectors. if/when banks stop exchanging it, then it will be 0 unless you find a collector..

i got some old sea shells too.. i guess they have some value..if i find some dummy to buy them.

Crystal but here's what ur missing...if the euro falls far enough..it will have to dissolve.

What do you think somolia's currency is worth in USD? I really don't know but I'd guess not too much...Somolia is an extreme but I just looked it up and there one USD is worth about 33,000 shillings. so yes it will always be worth something to you or people who want some pos piece of paper that you won't be able to spend anywhere

That is correct, the only scenery where a pair could be zero is only if one of the two (or both) are no longer in trade.

Why hold short when we can take some profit for a portion and re-enter at a better price? There will be many short positions taking some profit along the way. That's all I do when I day trade - trading around longterm position.

all money will disappear. but the odds of 16 countries with a history of fighting greatly increases odds comparable to a single country.

evidently germany is afraid their banks will be worthless soon. (they stopped short selling). the same crap u.s. did.. Germany is propping them up. take away the cane and they fall. France is in worse shape.. and the piigs nothing has to be said.. checkmate

it's tough to say right now man but it is definitely possible. They need their currency to drop, stay low for awhile, to get 16 nations to agree fiscally and make it work economically. Then they're going to need a nice steady economic recovery and globally I just cant see that happening.

Really I'd assume it will be another currency and yes the euro will probably just basically disappear, 3-4 strong EU nations will unite...maybe keep the euro?
all the rest will be left to figure out what they got theirselves into...it's just a matter of propping up the banks really right now.
It would be somewhat easier for countries like Greece to just cut and run instead of climbing the mountain they're going to have to for the next 5-10 years probably..the rates they're paying...first the speculators were going to pay dearly, then they say "controlled decent", now it's "fair value is here"...this is all ECB members etc quotes I mean wtf
