Agree with that. These two pairs kill profit in most winning trades. I always buy these two pairs in a short basket and sell them in a long basket when I open trades by hand. But T101_v1.18_BUY_SELL_ADX_Business_ru les_orest.mq4 always sell or buy all 14 pairs. Anyone knows how to edit it to get UCh and GCh to be reversed? Thanks in advanced.

My short is still strong, I'm aiming for GBPJPY to hit the low in mid April of about 139.50. It could go anywhere, but I think it looks likely.

Does anybody have an opinion on how tomorrow's elections will effect the GBP pairs?

it is still short strong yes BUT the JPY pairs are all forming pinbars on the H4. there will be buys in this market...gonna wait to see what the charts tell me to do...also, look at your screenshot. the EUR/USD is leading the whole basket in profit...that does not happen very often if ever at all. it's usually a JPY pair, namely the GBP/JPY...it has moved over 500 pips in one direction in less than a week due to Greece and all the bad EUR news and what not.. that's gonna reverse believe me on that one.

We should get a pretty epic move when EU gets dislodged by one of the bottom buys.

Well, the bottom Semafor 3 was on the 12:00 EST candle. On the open of the 16:00 candle (5 hours ago), I went long after seeing it bounce of trendline support I drew. Rode it to top trendline resistance for the bar. that's one buy. then on next candle, opened more buys. I got in at trendline support once again. now up 14.21 on that trade. since I been home, went from 547 to 577, so up around 300 pips. Makes me want to do this non-stop and never go to work again

Edit: I missed the big move earlier today because of being at a job where they somehow find that internet is something they can do without for 3 days and it's still not fixed. So I'm taking off half-days to trade and at least feel like I'm accomplishing something toward a future with hope.

Ah, you're wanting to change the conditions for Alerts. Samir gives alerts when a pair jumps a slot. I can see why you're getting too many alerts.

so what you need is conditions changed to go by rules that make long strong on screen , with a=Bars. and rules to make short strong on screen, with b=bars.

Just do this instead:
Open BuysVsSells, and put this at end of extern at top:
extern bool AlertOn = True;
extern bool SignalMail = True;
int a=0,b=0;

near bottom, above comments put this:
if(ExtMapBuffer1[0] > 0 && ExtMapBuffer2[0] < 0 && Bars > a) {
if(AlertOn) Alert("LONG STRONG");
if(SignalMail) SendMail("LONG STRONG","LONG STRONG");
a=Bars;
}
if(ExtMapBuffer1[0] < 0 && ExtMapBuffer2[0] > 0 && Bars > b) {
if(AlertOn) Alert("SHORT STRONG");
if(SignalMail) SendMail("SHORT STRONG","SHORT STRONG");
b=Bars;
}

BUT before BLINDLY taking this, I'd say make sure the profit line for buys or sells is going in the direction you need it to to profit. if buying, buys need to be pointing up. if selling, sells need to be pointing up.

After doing this, you may post the updated indicator.

If you look from right to left, you see two green bars. and then a red bar with a bottom Semafor 3.

I didn't see the two green bars when I started becuae they weren't there. But the top trendline was from me drawing it.

I took the first buy at bottom of first green bar (it was red at time, but price didn't want to go down past last low to make a new Semafor 3, so since it was hitting support, I drew a trendline to show support. see the trendline resistance at top of that candle? i got out there.

I took the second buy on next candle, again where the trendline support I drew on first green candle was tested and price didn't really want to stay below it, so time to buy again. could have gotten out with profit, but decided I'll ride this one all the way to the top Semafor 3 if I can without closing in profit too early.

Hmm so semafors are basically zig zags and the new indicator is basically buyallpairs in candleform High, Open, Low, Close in a specified timeframe?

The BLUE CIRCLE is where you went LONG while I stopped my SELL there, and look at the trend line and the powerful rejection from below it and as soon as I saw that BI_T101_OTR crossed and price crossed below TM, I re-entered SHORT again at the GREEN BOX and a very successful one.

Hi Charvo!
I dont think I need up to 17K, I am just using this small live acct for posting purposes, at least to boost ppl's confidence, encourage ppl that it is possible and it can be done simply, even small acct can grow exponentially in reasonable time.
5k acct is running conservatively at the background anyway.

Kos, absolutelly right analyses.Like mine.The differences are that you made this short but i did not made (i'am not always in front of the screen).
My demo lost is -56 usd, i trying to trade with u/cad and u/chf in opposite direction but failed.Nevermind, on demo always permited In this way i still in stanby for the real.
E/u leading the basket in last few days but it is not usual. hazelj80 says the same.
In my picture we will see what will be the next target to g/j, perhaps in the zone 139.30-80.I try to buy there.

Yep. Nothing fancy. Just candles and zigzags. Zigzags do repaint until they don't. I haven't played zigzags like I am right now. I usually am on smaller timeframe and wait for higher low /lower high after Semafor 3 to get in. On H4, I'm trying to pick tops and bottoms, but I'll still scalp if I have to.

Big oops for me - I trade my fxdd demo from a usb flashdrive, and I left it at home! So no updates on my short basket until after work.

I took a low leveraged short on my Oanda account last night and it hit my SL just before the big drop - I guess that was the UK election results. I've re-enter this morning so I can at least track how my fxdd demo is doing positively or negatively. Hopefully we will continue to drift lower or stall until I can monitor it in about 10 hours!

Empori, I just noticed your post about your loss. It was demo, right? Can you explain what your reasons were for going long? I think we need to see more examples of failed entries to know what to avoid.

My Oanda short basket last night for example was taken after a big move so a retrace should be expected. I would have been better off setting orders that would activate on a strong retrace or a breakout instead of market orders, especially in the Tokyo session.
