If Labour do win, they have stated that they would not start paying back any debt until 2011 for fear of a double dip recession. This will make Sterling tank to new lows as the UK has now been declared as having the highest rate of debt in Europe as per this link http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2...se-than-greece

Cloggie said that you could get some serious whip-saw action as the results trickle in. Smaller constituencies will have their results in first as there are less votes to count. Where there is a close call, votes are usually recounted.

Is it safe to trade? Well, whatever you do, if you do decide to trade and Cloggie will be doing so and probably posting on here, make sure you use a large SL!

It should be safe to trade tomorrow, although saying that they do have exit polls, whereby they will ask people who they voted for after they come out of the polling station to give some indication as to what the result might be. This is probably more accurate then other polls, but still not a true representation and will only give an indication. However, this could cause PA to fluctuate. What I am saying is just be wary of price movements and keep an eye on news.

I believe the UK uses pen and paper and they mark a cross in a box. I am Dutch living in the UK and I am not allowed to vote.

Indeed, only cuts and austerity measures can reduce the rising debt!

When I said Labour stated to pay back debt in 2011, what I actually meant is start reducing the yearly deficit. So it will stay at the predicted 12% for 2010, the highest in Europe! Labour forecast annual debt % of GDP will be reduced from the current 12% to 4% in 2014. So the debt will still be increasing by 2014, but at a slower rate if these muppets stay in power... LOL

perhaps sometimes i can stop by to ur cafe and get drunk on caffein .
javanesse coffee is the best.. but torajan coffee is more expensive..
