Hi all,

Trial this script / EA (actually I have tried in both folders of MT4, both worked) for a while and really like it. But some settings are still hesitated to use, would like some clarify here:

1. What are "cl", "cp" & "delete on deinit", how to apply?
2. Any chance to tune the sl & tp lines in hidden mode so both order would not be seen from broker?
3. Anyone can direct me a link to the author.?

Hi all seniors,

The captioned EA is very useful, but can any expert help to modify a bit?

1. Add a pair of "Hard" SL & TP (which are both visable by broker)

2. modify the original set SL & TP be invisible from broker (not in broker's order book!!), but remain the function of movable by mouse?

3. other BE / trailing stop etc all remain unchanged.

If someone can help, much appreciated.

Have been reading various threads on this site while demo trading and need some help on the following.
I would like to drag and drop SL and TP levels on my MT4 charts rather than using the normal method. I have downloaded the following mq4 files

A_Visual SLTP.mq4 and Visual order editor.mq4

Have downloaded both to the experts/scripts location and they are in the navigator window under scripts. right clicking A_Visual SLTP the box appears on the chart where various settings can be changed default SL and TP I understand but the rest is a mystery? I probably won't use it anyway as I only want to drag the SL and TP. Have pressed the load + save buttons but have no idea what to do when the next box pops up??
Have tried Visual order editor as well but nothing shows up at all when I try to 'execute on chart' it is their somewhere as if I then try to attach
A_Visual SLTP it asks if I want to stop using 'visual order editor' When I go with a live account It would also be good if the SL + TP levels on the chart were not visible to the broker-do either of the above have this function?? also can these levels be moved really close to the price? or do they have to be a certain distance away?

I have been using the Luktom Visual Order Editor successfully, but there is one aspect that I cannot figure out. Normally, once an EA is loaded, right click > Expert Advisor > Properties OR hitting F7, will bring up the Properties input box to allow changing inputs. Except that does not happen with this EA, and the only way I can see the inputs is to remove and then reload the EA. And comparing the code with other same MT4 codes, I cannot for the life of me see what is preventing the display of the inputs box. Does anybody know why this should be?

"EA can run in synchronous and asynchronous mode. You can select asynchronous mode by setting use_timer to true. When EA works in asynchronous mode, it checks every second if you moved any line. In case use_times is set to false, EA performs checking on every incoming tick. When EA runs in asynchonous mode it is not possible to edit settings - instead of changing settings, you have to detach EA from chart and add it again."

You did not mention what mode you are using it in but I assume asynchonous.

For the last few months I have also been using the Luktom Visual Order Editor to visually control my SL, TP. Very useful and WYSIWYG.
It also has a feature of partial TP. In this mode it displays the first TP where it closes part of the trade (cp_level) and then moves to the next TP to close the rest of the trade (cp_closedlevel).
There is one problem though when I use this mode: the EA closes partially at the cp_level but it does not move to the cp_closedlevel and closes the rest of the trade at the same cp_level.
I had started a thread to see if any kind programmer can help fix this but couldn't find anyone. Hopefully, someone will see this thread (should be an easy fix...)

1. ol_sell_color - color of sell orders lines
2. ol_buy_color - color of buy orders
3. cl_color - color of cancel levels lines
4. be_color - color of break even lines
5. sl_color - color of stop loss lines
6. tp_color - color of take profit lines
7. use_be - is break even functionality enabled
8. default_be_level - default break even level (number of pips)
9. be_offset - offset of break even level (sets stop loss to open price + be_offset level)
10. use_cl - is cancel level functionality enabled
11. default_cl_level - default cancel level (in pips)
12. use_timer - if true, EA uses asynchronous mode, so no ticks are required to take an action
13. delete_on_deinit - deletes all lines on EA deletion or on change of chart’s TF
14. cp_color - color of close part lines
15. cp_style - style of close part lines
16. cp_level - when profit pips will be more than cp_level EA will close part of the order
17. cp_closedlevel - after closing part of the position, EA moves cp line to the distance specified in this parameter, counted from current price
18. cp_lots - number of lots to close after reaching cp_level
19. default_sl_level - default stop loss level (in pips)
20. default_tp_level - default take profit level (in pips)
21. default_trailing_stop - default trailing stop level (in pips)

Does anyone know how to make this EA not try to manage multiple positions on a currency pair separately?

I like to add onto winning positions and that's where this EA falls short. It tries to manage SL/TP lines for each open position and they end up "fighting" each other. I'm sure the Broker's server doesn't appreciate all the modifying to the tickets on every new tick either.

Hi Guy's, is there someone out there that could add a magic number and time to open to this EA?
