I'll post tonight. My two-year backtests covering 2008/2009 have
always done well, with no more than 19% DD. This is with Blessing
on usdjpy. It will have even lower DD with eurchf.

The parameters are the same that you use now or you have been changing them to obtain profits in this period? Test the martingale back 10 years with the same parameters to all years and see if it survives with good results. You could also post your martingale here and tell us what parameters you use to test it.

I'm still thinking that using a martingale is a high risk strategy, show me that I'm wrong.

I don't curve-fit to achieve high PF. I adjust for low DD, which helps my accounts to live another day. I'm happy with 35-50%/year, so I try not to let greed get the best of me. I know all about death trades. And, I know all about EAs with 20-pip TP and 100-pip SL. Those are the ones that will bleed your account dry.

I am diversified and understand the risks of live-trading. I also don't trade
with money I can't afford to lose.

Your feelings regarding martingales is not without foundation. I've blown
out my fair share of demos with them. I think Blessing is a cut above, so
that's why I'm trading it, plain and simple.

Or you could do a google search, end up at the forex-tsd website and do your own research. I do agree with Rob, Blessing 3 (hint) is a good EA but it still does have high inherent risks (martingale as mentioned previously).

There are some great people there who have dedicated alot of time into it and it does show.

If you'd blindly use martingale, blowing up is inevitable. Knowing both sides of a coin and when to use it is an advantage.
