It seems like we might be in for yet another yawner today. The Fed is supposed to be making a statement later today, but absolutely no surprises should come out of it.....

Yeah, I was not really anticipating a hike by the Feds as there's no clear sign of inflation in the US. Rather, I see deflation being that there's not enough money in circulation so there was no way they could possibly hike rates now. Unemployment has in fact been the major cause of low consumer spending. I think until this improves, there might be no hikes.

would have 300 pips to run before next s/r and it seems to be with the trend (plus has broken the box in late jan)... what do you guys think?

Decent maybe.....but I personally like to see it retest the box, which it hasn't yet.....I would be more interested there to be honest.

Finally got a signal ... maybe on the G/U. I have been waiting for price action on this, and it looks like we might get a bullish outside bar off 1.5000. As you can see from the chart, I have 2 targets, first around 1.6000 and then final at about 1.6500. I am aware of the 1.5500 level, so I will be watching for any bearish signals to tighten my stops when we get to that level. Otherwise, I think the PA we got today is might be strong enough to push us through that level.

Again, this might not workout like I planned, but I think this is a high probability play. I would have liked to see some divergence or that bearish bar piercing the 1.5000 level more, but I will take what the market gave me.

We will see what happens. If it doesn't pan out, there is always the next trade.

Yeah, I think even if this week isn't the one to watch - this pair looks like it wants to bounce.

I am also watching EUR/CHF. Interesting levels here at 1.45

Yes, and entered last night. I only trade counter trend when the charts say so. I also am not looking for a change in trend....just a quick bounce is all.

I see. Did you enter on the break of 1.520 (weekly pin high)? Or was it a different trigger?

yes.....(checking this post from my phone, I am not sure exactly what price.....but it would have been within a few pips of there, correct.)

Still watching how this all plays out today.....but looking like a possible pinbar at .65 in NZD/JPY and a pinbar at .7150 in the NZD/USD pair.

Perhaps we will get a move down? Who knows.....keeping eyes open.

My demo trade got triggered on the 11th and stopped yesterday at .7120. My area was .7 to .71 (post 7563). Did I get that area wrong?

since 1.45 was broken to the downside today, would you consider the "brick wall" (is that the name?) setup for a long not valid anymore?

or wasn't it a long you meant? are you waiting to break the 1.45 -1.445 (2002 lows) area to go further down?
