If not looking @ Greece troubles, I am still very satisfied with AvaFX.com: their roots are in Russian Federation, but now they settle in Cyprus, USA, Russia, etc.

ya seems like taking a bit of time but asian countries are slowly relaxing the forex laws. as the list suggest so far it seems like mostly international companies setting up offices in asian countries, and very few brokers originating from the country domesitically?

Takisd, would you know about the forex brokerage laws / regulations in other Asian countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Laos, Cambodia?

Hyper, my company is bangkok based and our brokerage in usa with partners in hong kong.I might be able to help you with any information on brokerage laws/regulations.

I am not 100% familiar with the laws of those countries. I believe HK has no real harsh regulation or laws against trading FX. But I might be wrong.

Operating out of the third world, is usually pretty easy, especially if you have money. But I probably wouldn't trade at places located in these locations.

dizzydee, what do you mean by Bangkok based yet brokerage is in the US? Is your company registered in Thailand? Do you have Thai clients trading through you? Are you able to tell me the name of the company?

HK would probably be your best bet, or Singapore. Malaysia ironically has the infrastructure for it, but legally put themselves out of the game.

Seems like the best thing is to be an introducing broker for a reputable forex broker in Australia or UK.

Hi, I am searching the web for a reputable broker who offers ease with:

opening an FX account (for US citizens) with REASONABLE PAPERWORK (no utility bills or US phone bill/account as a mandatory requirement)
funding an account with low or small fees (I live in Korea)
withdrawing from the account with ease (putting funds directly into US bank account)

Some of this is tedious with the inception of the US Patriot Act.

I have a street address in the USA where I receive mail and send all bills/bank account info. This allows me to meet the requirement of providing a bank account statement with current address.

I wouldn't want to RE-Provide the above paperwork (besides ID) in order to WITHDRAW funds.

I am trading from Asia, yet prefer a good broker who can transfer/upload funds with ease into and out of the USA bank accounts in various ways, so that I have options (moneybrokers, ATM/debit card or direct deposit).

Prefer US broker, so I can experiment with fees. Would like to keep fees and pay-in/out times to a minimum. Not really considering Oanda at this time.

from experience i can tell you on thing f**k Instaforex and their so call best forex broker in Asia and if anyone in here is using them i advise you to reconside. I was robbed by them recently with a clause 5.12 that allows them to reduce on profit made during volite movement involving news releases and some other factors i can't rememeber right now and so it is clear this only applies when u gain not when you lose by those factor so clearly stay away from them and plus they are not regulated in the U.k the U.s and not even Australia

There were too many complaints about Insta. Thanks for your post, I will definitely avoid to trade with them.
