for once I agree and said already yesterday that I would like to get an entry as clos as possiblr to 3665.

EURO-DOLLAR: Opened Asia around $1.3615 and initially dipped back to
mark session lows at $1.3607 before getting a lift as cable rallied,
reacting to a UK press article suggesting UK Prudential may have to pull
out of its proposed buy of AIA, with euro-dollar pulled to a high of
$1.3654. Rate ran into decent resistance above $1.3650, with layered
offers noted from macro accounts and long term funds. Japanese sales of
euros at the Tokyo fix reversed the early move, taking the rate back to
$1.3615. Recovery through the rest of session stepped its way back
toward the earlier highs, only to meet the same resistance, with rate
easing back in late Asia, currently trading around $1.3622. Support
remains in place at $1.3615, with interest seen extending toward
$1.3600. Offers remain above $1.3655, with further sell interest noted
at $1.3665/70. Above here and rate expected to meet further offers
beginning from around $1.3685 through to $1.3700, with talk around of
large stops placed on a break of $1.3700.

I closed all longs and opened shorts about an hour ago....just bounced off a major monthly trendline....looking to go back to range lows below 1.35

think the ones with the best smile is those that ride it up yesterday and now ready to ride it down again. Double PIPS!!!!!! thats a cool 100+ pip up and 100+ pip down. unless it hit my tp, then it 250++PIPS DOWN!!!

me on the other hand offen find myself holding to huge drawdowns by entering at the wrong time and closing my position due to scared that the price reverse....... only to find it hitting my tp few hours later zzzzzz

yes..that is a mistake we all made, you not alone...Yesterday evening I had open a short position at 13552...was falling in a trap chart signal...I am waiting still my destiny will turn and open a second short on high level to recover fast as possible..the pain is yesterday I opened a 13470 long position and closed at 13500..How I could know that the PA will go up to this level...so that means evertthing time will tell and everything is possible..entry and exist mistakes happen to all here...nobody can ride until the top and win always..simple we must wait and one day we will be also ride lucky like other luckies..

Try to be patient. One has to improve his management from tight tp with wide sl into tight sl with wide tp. Soon after you're comfort, make even more with averaging up. Dont ever do a negative averaging. It'll kill your account soon.

sounds very familar think happen to me before. luck really play a part, remember once i open a short and went to take a smoke break, when i come back, it had fallen 100+ pips!!! quicky close it and off com. next day check account to ensure the 100+ pip really bank into my account just to check if i were dreaming.

but the skill to read chart and understand pa is the most effective way to ensure positive account. i'm still learning....... long way to go.

If 1.3644 enough for the up ? to go 1.3766 again ? May be area in blue will be keyarea for the next move , up & down few times for many hrs before any.

This is the template used by Shamus. Malc could you please be so kind and point the difference in volume on this chart.....It seems to me, to be similar all along the downtrend. Help a fellow trader get out of the darkness.

negative averaging? atm my account can only open 1 lot or 10 mini lots. but with 1 lot, my breakeven is 1.6 pip. while 1 mini lot is 4 pips. so trading normally 1 lot at a time.

Morning peeps...

So we heading down for a correction today or we gonna break the 1.37 level today? Any opinions? I think the ADP figures will give this market direction.

I am pleased to say that i did not fall for the temptation of going short 12hrs back....

Maybe i should just take off for the day and let the market sort its direction out. too many traps now.

Ichimoku is showing signs of a short being developed...price is still in the cloud thou...might have to wait for 1.3600 to be broken.

That is nasty spread. MB Trading usually has 1.9 pips on eurusd including commission. All contract is mini. Enough to me to make a scalp trade. Compounding and positive averaging can make your week or even month with only 1 trade. Try it some.
