You are so correct, when the reversal formation form at any other point other than S/R areas they really mean nothing, they can form all over the chart, it all comes down when and where it takes place.

Nice pin forming the EURCAD 4hr right at the 50% fib and the trend line and a RN...

Hmmm now I am not sure thats a pin at all, I am seeing something completely different on my Live account?? what the heck is it????

Maybe your broker of your live account has a different timezone than your metatrader broker, thus you will get slightly different bars when looking at the h4. Best would be to use gmt charts if you try looking for candlestick formations.

That might be the issue, I switched back to the FXDD platform and the pin is gone, I got that pin using MIG. So I am sure it has to be something like you stated.

I checked that on H1 ...i can see a bearish engulfuing pattern i think its also called as Railway Tracks, by the it looks....so resistance it in action...

I think an entry on close below the low of bearish candle would be a good idea. What you guys think?

NM,

I noticed that pin forming too on the MIG chart. They use GMT+1 (Switzerland) on their servers. It's actually sort of annoying to be out of synch with the rest of the world.

I switched back to FXDD and working ok now, my FXCM MT4 was getting a lot of disconnects....

Yes, H4, H1....
H1 has a bearish engulfing pattern after which price is clearly hit the wall ...i would consider entring below the low of previous bearish candle

I experienced the same ..i thought it was somthing to do with my wireless network ...I it bugs a lot I'll switch again.

Also a nice two bar pullback retesting the trend line if it holds up it could be a nice ride again....

I am in, I used a Hector method...I got in right as soon as the trend line got respected a second time, whether or not it turns into anything I cant say right now but I am in and at the mercy of the markets...but at the moment I am +31 pips...

Here where I entered, as shortly after the trend line was respected from the pullback I need to move my stop but at least i am going to score something I think....I am not the master at these...
