reasons for usd to weaken are multiples and everybody agried on that till 2 weeks ago but memories are short.
-Huge debt ( huge is an euphemism)
-chinese worried about they reserves mainly in usd
-some countries trying to pass the idea to quote oil in a basket currencies instaed of usd.
-some arabics countries want to have a local currencie not pegged to the usd and believe me they are working on that .
American authorities happy with a weak usd even if saying the opposit
i have plenty of like that and i forget the strongest one which is because..............................
