to be honest though, not sure i would go short now though, the time was at 14335-40 ... where we are no is sort of in the middle?

Daily high shows 1.4438 for me. It might differ from broker to broker by 1 pip or so.
They think they are smarter than I am.

yes - that can happen - as it is an OTC market - some Banks have different prices traded...

only Interbank Rates nearly same extreme levels...

can vary from broker to broker - but interesting at all - somehow...

yea i guess, around 1445 seemed to cap it usually, but 1448 would be a good entry too

My system shows me HIGHEST and LOWEST price as so-called "mid-price"...

That means for me - as we have a two pips spread - highest been given was 1.4438 (bid) - as mid-price was 1.4439 - highest been taken (ask) was 1.4440 then...


so I only could have been short with 1.4438 maximum on my platform...

We mostly never can get it at its highest or lowest point...

Moreover that is quite dangerous at such zones...

i remember one night trading AU i spent the whole night awake, stressing all night, and finally when it was already morning i gave up the short, closed it to see it reverse a few minutes after. it went past my BE and could have made some $$$ on it (real cash at that time).

(i remember that in the morning i felt like i wanted to puke!) lost 1.800€. lot's of money for me. no SL and bad MM, too.

since 1 liter of beer is 1.5€ here, i could have had a few barrels (ok, still i would feel like puking) but would have had a little more fun, no?

hope that you have margin for it and that it ranges back to where you need, Balance! (i understand you are still short, right?)

sooner or later .. We all pass through those experiences. perhaps one is not enough. it happens and it is in the nature of things.
