so i closed my long at BE (it was a late entry, 3rd entry long today) and have loaded shorts!

even it it goes to SL, still will be a beautiful day. (well, although green a couple of important mistakes (moving SL, trading 3 times my defined risk) were made. NFP helped correct them...)

lol ...as said i stayed out markets today

eu is acting nuts ....

daily could still be in flag but there has been large volumes defending 1.4300 for 3 days now.

US stock markets at new year highs on declining volume each week .... they are just running on air , but DJ could still head to 11500 before any kind of drop.

I think that pros have stepped aside in markets and now it is ony hft and retial traders pushing them higher.

EU 10% unemployment , highest since inception od euro's life , yet euro player just ignored the news... almost buried head in sand.

Skty side it best buy 1.4300 , stop 50 pip , sell 14440 stop 50 pip .. enjoy the range.

I traded like complete rubbish this week.... did not lose but did not make any either. Still market will be here next week.

The thing to realize here is that you already lost half your account, whether or not it is realized. The most important thing is net asset value.

bro balance... i duno abt u but i have been there... gota be strong and take the hit... at least u have half of the money there to hopefully trade again next week to slowly recover it back...

and i really mean slowly... not straight buying ten lots... try 3 and 3 and of course with stop loss...

Hey guys and girls

Several of the senior members said that trading the NFP is a no no.

And I totally agree.

This thing swung plus and minus 150 pips 3 times today and I was almost going to short at 4408 manually with a tight stop at 4430 (trend resistance) and it shot to 4430 before I pulled the trigger.

Scared the bejeezus out of me.

Ain' t EVER trading the NFP day anymore. I'd rather curl up hugging my capital singing the Crying Game vs risking it on news like this.

Sheer luck says I am out with +39 pips for the day and that was closed out pre-NFP at 8AM. Have a good weekend!

its never a straight line.. retrace charts are always opposite of trend.. so yes the baby charts are bullish..until target hit..
