I believe ECB may fear that if EUR does break the psychological barrier at 1.5, it will spark a speculative buying spree that will really hurt their recovery.

A good example is oil breaking $100 and Fiji's yen comment before he is forced to change his statement.

The deliberate negligence of the dollar weakening by Fed must have pissed the rest of the world.
